    And I agree with him.

First it's Haye and now it's Khan. Haye and Khan are the only British champs yet both of them are ****ing cowards. Both really are just big wastes of talent. If I'm a British boxing fan I would renounce these ***gots as being inbred farmers from Wales. How can anyone support them?

These truths will remain a sad reality for boxing fans until Khan fights either Maidana, Bradley, Alexander, or even Ortiz. I doubt Khan ever fights any of the 4 I mentioned.

What is it really? Do Brits have a prescribed amount of estrogen in their tap water?

Isnt maidana on the sidelines with a backinjury? i understand why he wants Marquez next it is a good fight for his career, but after that he will need to fight one of the 3 you mentioned or ortiz other wise he will become a known cherry picker.

    This.

It's a little early to put Khan in the same bracket as Haye. We'll have to wait and see who he chooses after his bout with JMM......Maidana or Ortiz would be the bare minimum.

Khan and Haye are at completely different stages of their careers right now. There's no comparison

Really what the **** is wrong with you people? Really?

You people post on a goddamn boxing forum and you don't know the details behind Maidanas managerial problems?

He never had a goddamn "back problem"! His promoter at the time was dicking him(and us) around

Khan just defended a major title against a former reigning champion at 140 lbs. Khan imo right now is the #4 LWW in the WORLD. With this being true, how on earth can you people have a serious discussion about Khan fighting a lightweight? You people are seriously ****ed up in the head if you're fine with such blatant cowardice.

Khan really needs to quit running his goddamn mouth and fight his mandatory, Maidana, who has a new manager(GBP).

The sad thing is I was really starting to like Khan. I've followed his career since the Olympics. He's got alot of skill and has really matured as a fighter. All the **** talking he does really just exposes what a real coward he is because after so many times of not "manning up" people just write you off as a *****.

khan seems quite 1 dimensional both bradley and alexander have excellent timing if khan thinks he can use the same kind of plan as he used against malinaggi hes in for a shock, both guys would follow the pattern and catch him at some point,
i think marquez is a good opponent and has a decent enough chance to beat khan but i'd favour khan in that fight 60:40

    Calm down fella

I know Maidana has been restricted by his managerial problems.

As for JMM as an opponent for Khan, it's a great pick in terms of development and marketability. Khan's weakness requires him to perk up his defence drastically. Still possessing one of the best offensive arsenal in the world, JMM is a perfect catalyst for Khan to measure the improvement of this defence.

No doubt about it, JMM will find the target regularly. But him being a lightweight means the dangers of Khan being knocked out, are considerably lower than what they would be against an Ortiz or a Maidana. But if he can go 12 rounds without being tagged often, it'll prove he's that one step closer to being the finished product.

So to put it simply, the reason we're ok with him not fighting the big dawgs yet, is because he's not ready for them yet

    No. You are wrong.
They indeed are at comparable stages in their Careers. Not much logical disputing can be done here.

Currently both Haye and Khan are title holders in their respective divisions.

Both Haye and Khan have solid wins over at least 2 or 3 solid opponents in their respective weight classes.

Its also a fact that while both Haye and Khan are title holders in their respective divisions, both are ranked #3 and #4 respectively.

Despite the fact that both Haye and Khan have looked brilliant in the ring recently both really don't want to challenge themselves it appears, any further up the totem pole.

Both Haye and Khan are in a position to elevate themselves to a level of greatness many fighters and fans only dream about. Yet, they choose not to.

All this being said, It's a pivotal point in both Khans and Hayes career. They can choose to challenge themselves, possibly lose, and be heralded as warriors that never backed down from another man.

Or they can choose to fight safe opponents with a has been or decent name attached and be spit at, stoned, and called a cockless coward for the rest of your life.

Eubank, Benn and even Lewis were warriors by comparison. I miss em.

Important points on what has been said:

    My rankings are

    1)Bradley
    2)Alexander
    3)Maidana
    4)Khan
    5)Ortiz

Out of the fighters listed the only fighter I can see Khan beating is Bradley. Think about this for a moment.....

Khan really is a good boxer. I'll give him that. He's also fairly smart. By comparison Bradley really isn't that great of a boxer. He's just active and has great stamina. Bradley does make some pretty dumb mistakes. Also it really should be considered that Bradley really doesnt have any power. Part of this comes from his technique. He doesnt turn his punches over and alot of his punches are thrown poorly and wide. But they look flashy, confusing the average onlooker that he may have some pop. Bradley aint knocking Khan out folks. Trust me I'm waiting for Khan to get KOd but Bradley isnt doing it.

Alexander, Maidana, and Ortiz are just as intelligent and technically sound(if not more) than Khan AND they all 3 are great punchers capable of ending a fight with one punch. Khan cannot survive 12 rounds against these guys.

Same thing really with Marquez. It's a dumb choice of opponent for Khan. Marquez is much smarter, faster, and stronger than Khan is. So not only is Khan avoiding must see fights at 140, Marquez will just flat out whip his ass and probably KO him. Marquez will still have enough pop at 140 to put Khan in dreamland. Bet the farm.

At 23, Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz was the undefeated, unified(3 titles) lightweight champion of the world.

Believe it or not the guy still fights and from what I hear he is this weekend, should be a great card.

    Now go **** yourself:hi:

Why do you keep saying 'You people'?? Do you know what everyone person in England thinks.....errr no....then STFU!!!

You should know very well that Khan has just as many haters than fans in the UK (i'm about somewhere inbetween the two). And as for Haye, the non boxing fans who have heard of him aren't gonna get on his back.

But as far as i know, the knowledgable brit boxing fan is saying he should fight the K bros. You seem like an idiot.
