Ali was actually already slurring slightly in the early to mid 70s. Definitely not like he was later on, but there was some slight deteroriation in his speech and I remember reading an article where he even acknowledged it.

Taylor was also showing some signs of slurring and fought on for years. He was never a wordsmith but you can hear some signs of it around 92' or so. Mosley, Toney. It's pretty sad to see.

    Depends on the person.

Its entirely possible he healed up and never shows any ill effects.

Some people take one concussion, and suffer mental illness, loss of cognition , loss of motor control or memory.. some combination or all of the above.

Some people suffer multiple concussions, and even massive brain trauma and fully recover 100%

    You just never know.

if he stays clear of mixing it with punchers like Providnikov, he'll be fine. i think he's learned his lesson in that fight to stick to his boxing skills in future.

Bradley is dating or married to a Mexican. Pretty much shows he wasn't bright to begin with.

Alis head shape changed by the 2nd frazier fight in 1974. That is whgen it really was setting in,. Go and look at the differece in between sept 1973 & jan 1974. He really took a lot of bad beatings in sparring from the likes of dokes, witherspoon, holmes etc. Read ferdies biography, it was truly horiffic what he wrote about alis condition.

Ali should come back and fight now so he can get beat in his racist head some more.

I expect a good fight between Pac and Bradley. There are so many things to clarify about both....can bradley survive another war, can pac survive a clean right...etc. . Very intriguing matchup! A toss up.

That was only one war, it takes way more to damage the brain.

In any case, brain damage never shows up quickly unless it is really massive (car-crash type of brain damage), so it won't take less than 10 years to show up anyway.

Really it varies from fighter to fighter... Guys like Chuvalo and LaMotta are lucid and 'with-it' well into old age, others are punch drunk and can't even tie their own shoes a few years after their respective careers over.
