What I stated is undeniably his current predicament.

He is still the #2 man at WW...although as i've said before if he doesn't fight very soon Thurman, Brook & Spence may be overtaking his spot...Also Pacquiao if he fights a stiff like Horn risks losing his place. They both still might be the most talented but you have to prove it every so often...instead they're just pimped out by Arum.

Thurman vs Pacquiao is tough. I lean a little to Manny but it's by no means an easy win either way. Thurman may have the poise preparation and physical tools to prevail

 

do agree that despite a lack of stoppages recently he was close to getting Algieri out of there and Margarito could have justifiably been stopped much like Vitali vs Briggs.

he also dropped Bradley and buzzed Floyd in round 4 so I think his power is there but his competition has been very good at a weight class well above where he started
