To be fair...It could be true...When a fighter gets caught by a very hard punch that knocks them down or worse knocks them out...they don't really remember the whole thing!

They usually remember the hard punches they were just short of knocking them down or KTFO!

There is also another misunderstood Boxing Syndrome, where outboxed punchers...sincerely consider the loss an unfair affair...thus not a difficult fight & they surprise you, by insisting that the toughest slugger they stopped is the hardest fight of their life :yep

 

With head gear and 20 oz. gloves? When Matthysse fights Garcia they will not be wears the same gloves or head gear. Garcia said, before the fight, that Peterson would beat Matthysse, so did Hopkins. A lot of boxing fans picked Peterson, yet Matthysse easily knocked Peterson out in the third round. Ajose said that Matthysse was the hardest puncher he had ever fought, so did Judah and so many others......................no doubt about it, Matthysse hits extremely hard, Pauli said on Showtime that Matthysse hits like Julian Jackson, but with an iron chin. He is correct.

 

Matthyse punches hard no doubt about it. The problem for Danny Garcia is that Matthyse is also a good boxer and durable.

 

Matthysse had really great stamina, he can punch nonstop for 12 rounds. He can take body punches, his mid section is very heavily muscled. He also has an iron chin. Garcia was shaky against Judah and Khan..........
