Timothy Bradley not liked by Boxing fans?

    I was thinking how there's never any threads on this guy. His win over Pacquiao was obviously a farce, but even then, you'd expect him to be bigged up by some, but he's not. He's in the dark as much as he was before. Pacquiao goes on as if he never had that blemish on his record and boxing fans continue to talk about him and Mayweather.

    I personally don't disagree with the lack of hype he gets. His style is pretty ugly and despite his new promotional group, his personal awareness hasn't really increased much, in my opinion. Do his promoters care? Do HBO care about him? Hell, Broner, Russel Jr and all the young guys get more attention than him.

    Not even fighters are really after him because he's just not a lucrative option. He doesn't bring much at all to the table, apart from that WBO belt and a dodgy win on Pacquiao. It's not like people were calling him out left, right and center afterwards either.

    What's your opinion?

    Hard not to like Tim, seems like a standup guy to me.
    But in boxing being a good regular dude don't pay the bills.

    I'm a fan & have been since watching him go overseas & beat Witter.

    Tim is one of my favorite fighters. He has my respect and I know he didn't win via robbery vs. Manny.

    Not really a fan of him as a fighter.

    But i respect him as a person and respect his hussle and hard work.

    I agree. I like his persona a lot. Very honest (bar not admitting his loss) and a humble individual.

    I think he is liked by the true fans, good attitude , work ethic . Isnt mass market, but I like that about him. A true old school fighter.

    Just isn't exciting... Lack of power with an ugly style

    Heart, Chin, Determination and hard work made him get to where he is at

    Makes it to the top of his division and runs away from showing he is the best at that division to fight for a payday

    'He does what's best for his family' - bullsh*t he still is making $$$

    Well boxing does not have to be a popularity contest... At the end of the day I like watching his fights,a so called average fighter "undefeated" made an Elite fighter look average....Andre Ward does not have a huge fan base,that does not change the fact that he is not a good fighter..

    29 have tried....29 have failed.

    i knew he would beat pac. i called it.

    in the rematch he beats pac even more convincingly.

    pac needs to avenge this loss.
