I think Bradley needs to embarrass Devon to be taken serious

Top fighters don't think like that, especially undefeated ones. He probably thinks that he stops Pac. If Bradley beats the other champs at 140, then Pac has no reason not to fight him.

It'd be a lot easier to find out which hospital and which patient to visit if he had a name. :D

right after Pac beats bradley easily, people will say Bradley is really not black. He's just a really dark skinned mexican.

The sparring partner was probably checked in to JFK hospital in indio. That's close to Bradley's training camp.

Khan deserves a shot to unify before either Bradley or Alexander fight Pacquiao.

Your a good writer Marc. Why are you writing for a bunch of a holes like ringsidereport.com?

Did you read this article on Maxboxing.com?

    When Message Boarders Get Creds…

    Speaking of Holyfield…

When I first started writing over six years ago, my first two interview experiences happened on the same day: Winky Wright and Al Bernstein. Chatting it up with Bernstein was nothing short of a religious experience to me because he was the guy I thought served as the journalistic ideal. The cat who could lay down the groove, be critical and analytical, all without being some sort of dick. I learned from his example that we’re lucky to be here, to cover the great names of Our Sport, past, present and future (and from that point on, always asked myself, “What would Al do”?) and that we’re nowhere near the celebrity level of those we cover. That’s why it pains me when fighters, no matter what level of skill or accomplishment, get bashed or exploited simply for the purposes of making some writer, somewhere, look good.

I recently came across an article about Evander Holyfield that was incredibly disconcerting (I won’t tell you the name of the site but its initials are RSR). Now the content of the article wasn’t bad and the writer, Mike Plunkett, did a standard Q&A deal. Really, a good piece. But my issue is with the site, which seems to thrive on a somewhat bipolar, love/hate thing, when it comes to certain fighters, Holyfield coming to mind…

Back in February, when it was revealed that the former Undisputed Cruiserweight/Heavyweight Champion was being accused by his wife of spousal abuse, the site’s managing editor (some guy named Geno) wrote a rather scathing piece lead by his opinion of “The Real Deal.” Now, naturally, it’s fine to show disapproval with any public figure who’s had a heavy hand with his better half. We, as the American public, didn’t tolerate Chris Brown’s treatment of Rihanna but the mainstream news and entertainment media dealt with it accordingly. As the boxing media, it’s not our job to serve as judge, jury and executioner. We have to play the cards we have and even though we possess freedom of speech, when all the evidence is laid out and we, beyond a shadow of a doubt, know everything there is to be known, it’s our job to report and only hope those guilty parties get the help or punishment they’re so certainly in need of. Bottom line is we got here as fans and now we have to be fans second and news-providers first.

So, it pained me further to see that not only did that site initially condemn a fighter without the requisite editorial disclaimer that deems one man’s opinion not representative of the site, as a whole, but it, in turn deemed Holyfield a supporter of their site and is using his image as an basis to advertise their t-shirts. It’s pretty much saying, “Hey, we think you’re a dyed-in-the-wool a*hole but since you’re a veritable legend, readers will buy our merchandise if you say it’s kosher.”

If you think what Evander Holyfield is accused of his immoral, don’t make a living off his back. When Tiger Woods was exposed as an adulterer, management services company Accenture, Gatorade, AT&T dropped him as a paid endorser, as did Nutella and McDonalds when Kobe Bryant was accused of sexual assault. You can’t have it both ways.

Bradley looking for his biggest payday.

Seriously, what's his edge over Pac? Speed? Power? Skills? I would like to see Pac fight him for him to realize he is miles away from the top.
