Timothy Bradley Record: 31(12)-1-1 Age: 31 Height: 5'6" Reach: 69" Amir Khan Record: 30(19)-3 Age: 28 Height: 5'8" Reach: 72" Who wins and why? After what transcended last night, I honestly have to take Khan on this one. He appears to be a solid welterweight and would only struggle against punchers. Given his size advantage, hand speed and power advantage over Bradley, I take Khan by a wide UD.
Bradley falls even more short with his punches than devon did... Can't touch him from the outside so really his only option is to try and jump on Khan but that would be super hard to do & ineffective with Khan countering... Amazing to think Bradley would have actually had an easier time at 140... because Khan didn't know where to position himself correctly back then so Timothy could have imployed the offensive pressure tactic way more effectivly. Bradley would get a round or two in though trying to fight off the backfoot and counter Khan...and also maybe a round with a pressure tactic. simply Bradley can adjust better than Alexander ever could...so he'd stand more of a chance. I see it going 8-4 Khan - as long as he paces himself well. We'll see how they both look in their next fights...because they unfortunatly won't be fighting one another next which would be perfect. Both top level fighters. How they pull off a gameplan, how well they come prepared and how they manage to adjust & adapt will be the small but key differences in winning the fight. I can't really argue if you pick Timothy...he's a great fighter. I just think he's too small & too light hitting and if both are on form then Khan takes it.
