Bradley, without a day to re-hydrate, simply comes in at 159lbs against Briscoe, who was not a massive middleweight but extremely durable. Would he be able to do what a varied array of bangers (Holt, Pacman, Provodnikov) have not been able to do and stop Timmy. 12 rounds, who takes it?
I think he deserved at least one, if not two other 10-8 rounds, which would've given him either draw or a 1-point win on both my card and two of the judges. Perhaps I was wrong in saying the judges "saved" Bradley because a draw would've still allowed him to retain his title, but both his WW title fights have been won because of some questionable and sympathetic officiating IMO. He's one of the most undeserving and unconvincing titleholders in the sport right now IMO.
Bennie would grind him into the ground eventually. Bradley is very durable but not that durable and certainly won't have anything to keep Bennie off him.
terrible fight and post. Briscoe, one of the greatest punching middles ever to the body and head. and toughest too, beats the **** out of Brad and stops him in 1. What next, undehidrated musclebound Ray Mancini vs. Hagler/
