Sheridan felt the 6th was a clear one to Marriaga. I'm going the other way. Avila got belted with a few eye-catching hard ones, yes, but he precipitated a lot of leather on Marriaga in return. Just straight flurries on the face in bursts, after collapsing into himself, thumbs over eyes and elbows to knees, as Marriaga comes banging in. (mostly not scoring in any legal areas, though his thudding shots are affecting Avila and forcing him to move)

Marriaga is stamping Avila on the flat of the chin with the hard jab, doubling it. Marriaga is keeping Avila on the ropes and putting full power on his stuff, everything textbook form but slow. Avila is getting hit anyway. Avila taking what he needs to and then flurrying back or tossing high overhand rights to fend Marriaga off and buy a little room.

Marriaga is dribbling his jab off the face of Avila. Clean right hands getting through for Marriaga, rolling his right shoulder into them for extra torque as though he were hurling bales of hay up into a truck bed. Avila just soaks up EVERYTHING. Avila is throwing very sloppy & loose as he backs into the ropes, then mounts a counterattack.
