Kotelnik beat Alexander, but was robbed! Bradley will beat Alexander, no doubt about that one.

 

This is not a very hard fight to predict. Let's look at the facts:

In Bradley's fight with Peterson (the closest of his opponents to Alexander) he wore Peterson down with his jab, head movement, foot speed and hand speed, and still have plenty of energy left in the last rounds. In Alexander's last fight, he took clean shots to the face in the latter rounds, and was dominated by a rather slow fighter, with his fast hand speed producing punches with very little power in the latter rounds. Combine this with the fact that Bradley has a 40% KO ratio, while Devon has a 61% KO ratio, and you get two strategies.

Bradley's strategy will be to keep his distance with Alexander with the jab etc and wait till the latter rounds (after round 6 or 7) to start working on the inside, start to land some nice clean punches and by round 9, start taking bigger chances for those clean shots on Devon as by that time Alexander will start to get tired AND his punches will be less effective, and the judges will see that. Seeing as how this isn't in Alexander's home town, he will no longer have them to rely on to be his saving grace.

Alexander's strategy will be tempt Bradley to come forward so that he can try to catch him with a hook to either get an early knockdown or to hurt Bradley so he doesn't keep his stamina for the later rounds. Thing here is that Devon's punches are faster, but Bradley's are smarter and they have a higher percentage to land.

If Devon can't manage to do this and the fight goes into the 8th and 9th round without him being ahead on the cards by a sizeable margin, Bradley is going to pick it up and seal the UD.

It's still a pick'em fight, but I don't see the result being very surprising.

 

Can't wait for this fight.. hopefully these guys swing at each other, and just don't play a pysche-out game...
