Perez is taking long strafing plodding steps away from Kahn Clary. Long right hand on the body from Perez. Kahn Clary is stalking and occasionally jumping in to flurry. Right upper-hooks on the body and big looping lefts coming up off his toes by Kahn Clary. Perez is holding like crazy. Another warning by Reiss. Kahn Clary is jabbing into Perez's left glove and drilling him low with his own left. Wide slapping right hook on the hip by Kahn Clary. Perez holding nonstop. Reiss just breaking them, not issuing any more warnings or deductions. They reset from a clinch break and Perez thinks he can just lean into Kahn Clary to ride out the remaining few seconds in the round. Instead, Kahn Clary steps back and lands a jab and then sidesteps to land a double left uppercut on the face. PEREZ DOWN AT THE BELL, ASS OVER TEAKETTLE!!! Stays down as Reiss counts him out.

That is three KO losses consecutively for Pérez. I'd be surprised to see him licensed anywhere outside Barranquilla now.

 

All but two of Pérez's now dozen losses have come by stoppage.

Surprisingly, he was blown out fasted by Cristian Mijares (often typecast as having little power) while he went the full 10 with Martin Castillo (who's considered a decent puncher)
