The Bradley of Pac fight would take this fight 7-5 or even 8-4. Not sure about the current Bradley though.

Before it gets silly in here, this is a very good fight. I think I'll tip JMM on points at the moment.

If they fight on the outside, Bradley UD..

If they fight on the inside, Bradley UD..

I just don't see Bradley losing here..

Fair enough. We don't "know". But considering the kind of war that was, there is an extremely strong likelihood that it took something out of him.

    That we shall.

But for what it's worth, I'm a believer that momentum can play a big role, especially when it favors the better pure boxer. Perhaps age nullifies this somewhat, but I think JMM's ring intelligence keep things in his favor.

Either way, I expect it to be a superb match-up that will likely be quite competitive.

I'm just hoping for a great fight. May the best man win!

    :good

What in the world? Marquez is far better at both positions.

On the inside, Bradley drops his hands and throws slapping combinations, which an in-the-pocket counter puncher like Marquez would eat up with his sharp punches. On the outside, Bradley has good movement and a jab, but hasn't shown the same ability to time shots as Marquez, and brings his jab back low, which invites an overhand right to fill the space in front of the chin, a shot Ruslan landed over and over.

Marquez will clearly outbox Bradley, but then get robbed by the judges again. Bradley will walk away again undefeated, but he will be even MORE brain damaged :D

Timothy Bradley will come into this fight with Juan Manuel Marquez like he does all his fights by being in both the sharpest frame of mind and physical condition but he won't be subjected into fighting the same type of all out brawl that he engaged his last encounter in with Ruslan Provo.

Bradley will box most of the way but will slug it out at opportune moments as well with Marquez to make the fight exciting enough. "Desert Storm" will register the sharpest performance of his career at 147 against the future H.O.F.'er JMM and while the fight will be close it will be nearly convincing enough before going Bradley's way, via majority or split decision.

I honestly believe that the decision will go Bradley's way over JMM whom I have nothing but great admiration & respect for as both fighter and person. Not only will Bradley make it almost convincing enough to avoid any screams of controversy but the fact that JMM has all but completely ruled out any possibilty of a fifth fight with Manny Pacquiao and the fact that he wants to go out on this fight with Bradley into the sunset the promoter Bob Arum is going to look to keep the winning momentum rolling as a Pacquiao-Bradley2 fight would be more appealing if Bradley is coming off a win instead of a loss. Especially if it's one against a legend in J.Marquez who will always be known as the tough puzzle that Pac Man could never convincingly solve as Ken Norton was to a degree for Muhammad Ali to solve style wise.

It's funny that Bradley has 31 votes for him to win yet only 1 of those votes is for a KO win.

Looking back at how easily Bradley took Peterson's pressure and how Marquez struggled against Diaz and Katsidis, I think its safe to say that Bradley wins the fight inside..

And show me a clip where Marquez lands the right cross.. :hey

Is Peterson really above Diaz and Katsidis in terms of craft on the inside? I don't think so. He bum-rushed Khan, and did well on the inside against Kayo, but Diaz and Katsidis had fought better fighters at 135. Diaz had more speed and volume, while Katsidis had more power.

Besides, defensively, Bradley is much sloppier on the inside. He drops his hands often. And he just got caught over and over by Provodnikov. He couldn't win that fight on the inside.

In terms of the right hand I expect to find its way onto Tim's head once he brings that jab back low...

My initial thought was Marquez via UD, but I think Bradley may have what it takes to give him just enough trouble.

    Bradley via 8-4 UD

I have total respect for both boxers. Both men are gracious and show respect.:good

I think Tim is on the rise and JMM is looking to sail out on vacation from the sport.

Tim lacks the defensive skills, as noted on hands down, but his head is solid as his chin. If JMM lands a power punch like he did on PAC, Tim will just keep punching while seeing stars:smoke:nut
