why is cotto became so underrated after pac beat him? cotto will demolish bradley even at this stage, imo.

I really dont see Cotto stopping him at all to be honest.... its been awhile since Cotto put his punches together nicely enough and threw his hooks in the manner that allows him to really break his opponents down (turning his hooks over like he used to and hitting those home run style body shots, with his ass, back, and trunk into it) and with bradleys conditioning, chin, stamina, and decent movement, i simply dont see it. In fact i think this could be a very hard fight for Cotto with Bradleys activity.... Id want to see how Cotto looks coming back.

Ill go with Cotto UD, 7 rounds to 5 right now... but i think it would be a tough fight... for anyone that wonders why i think it would be so tough,
1 - Bradley is a tough fighter, and a very good one, who would bring all hes got and put it on miguel all night
    2 - I believe Cotto has slipped a bit

Even though i obviously really like bradley, id be rooting for my boy cotto, however it would be a real test at this point IMO.

How is cotto going to demolish a very good (near p4p calibre, being 11th) durable, conditioned, tough and undefeated champion like bradley? Lets not go overboard here.... Cotto when he sees he is not getting to someone, tends to revert into a boxing mode and is comfortable boxing his way to victory, and especially the way cotto has been fighting lately (a more boxing, speed based style) hes not going to be breaking Bradley down (maybe the Cotto that was fighting pinto, bailey, or early 147 like quintana, judah, then ya i see it, but im not talking a prime fantasy matchup, but one happening now ect)

Bradley is not jennings or gomez, which were destructions.... it will be a good test and a hard fight for both, and i think Bradleys toughness and activity will give Cotto his fair shair of problems, but Cotto is tough as well and has been there before, and with his own ability not to be trifled with and his strength, i see him winning a good fight, but not quite sure why someone thinks that Cotto would simply 'demolish' as good a fighter as bradley seems to be so far.

The last thing ill say about Bradley getting 'demolished' and stopped..... is these big fights come along and people tend to, at least in my opinion tend to get a little overboard in their picks, (not just in this one but in many matchups)

Guys, Zab Judah made it 11 rounds with Cotto...... Malignaggi fighting almost toe to toe with Cotto made it the distance, Ndou made it the distance.
Cotto is (and was) a beast, no DOUBT.... But a solid enough fighter CAN go the distance with him, especially one like bradley, and the way cotto has been fighting lately, add to that his habit of reverting to more of a boxing mode when he thinks hes not getting anywhere breaking the fighter down and they keep coming (Ndou, Urkal, Marg, Mosley, Clottey, Pac)

There are many top fighters i could see Cotto breaking down.... But Bradley has good footwork, decent defence, good activity, is always in top condition (which helps absorb punishment and last down the stretch) has a bunch of heart, and has a good chin.

This is not taking anything away from Cotto, hes my favorite fighter, and i think he would win this matchup, but i just feel that its a bit much at this stage to expect Cotto to DEMOLISH a guy like bradley.

    just IMO

I agree with most here...Cotto is too big for bradley....Too skilled aswell, even the dodgy chined Cotto of his 140 days stops Bradley.

Like someone has already mentioned, since the Margarito bout Cotto hasn't been putting his punches together. He hasn't been breaking down his opponents. Jennings wasn't in the same league, but even in that bout you could see the Margarito loss had effected him.
Pre Pacquiao, I'd pick Bradley by SD.
Pre Clottey, I'd pick Bradley by SD, or even a draw.
Pre Margarito, I'd pick Cotto by UD, or late TKO.

Obviously it all depends on what weight class this bout is held in, but im basing my results on form rather than weight.

I think Bradley actually has the goods to beat Cotto. Cotto can't outbox him and I think Bradleys speed would confuse him. The big fights that Cotto won was because his opponents stopped throwing punches. I don't see that happening with Bradley.

Any poll involving Cotto is a waste of time. His legions of fans will come in droves to support him on this poll. All it reiterates is that Cotto has the biggest fanbase on ESB.

    I chose Bradley by decision.

    Pre-Margarito is a different story.

Cotto was damaged goods mentally after Margarito and Tim Bradley is undefeated and in his prime. They're almost equal in height and reach, but Bradley is faster. I think Bradley takes it by a close UD.
