    Vargas' jab is keep Lucky Boy off balance. He's definitely got the slight edge right now. Lucky Boy need a big 10th round to win this fight.

    Wale out pressing behind the jab but Varargas lands a nice jab of his own. Nice wild bolo punch from Wale lands and snaps Vargas's head back. Left hook from Wale. Counter right from Wale. Triple jab from Vargas. They trade jabs again. Vargas jabs the body. They trade left hooks to the head. Counter right over Vargas's jab. Stiff jab from Wale and when Vargas is cornered he ties up. Stiff jab to body of Wale. Nice jab from Vargas. Nice left hook on the inside from Vargas. Two left hooks to the body of Wale as Wale presses.

    Omotoso is creeping in, arms up woodenly to catch Vargas' jab. Omotoso tries an uppercut and comes up short. Vargas sticks the jab while moving left, but isn't reaching the target or making a concerted effort to stay put long enough to square up and guarantee contact. Vargas on his bike, staying outside, still edging the jab battle although he is losing sharpness. Left hook by Vargas, caught on the forearm. Omotoso misses a left hook and right hand plummeting in headfirst toward Vargas.
