How have I done that? You seem a bit paranoid and insecure. Here was my last P4P list done today http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?p=14963690#post14963690 In that list I have said that I think an American is P4P #1 and out of those 10 fighters, only 2 are European. Not sure what you think ruffles my feathers? I am a fan of the sport and just try and look things from both sides. Mayweather is possibly my favourite active fighter. Isnt he American?
Oh what's up Boxrec Warrior? Provodnikov is solid but limited. Him showing limitations at 140 against mid or low level competition does not bode well for Bradley. It will be interesting since Bradley doesn't really "box" as much as one would think with all his power. I think after a couple rounds at most Bradley will be moving in on Provodnikov and Provodnikov won't have the distance to let any of his punches go. I think Bradley stops him, and would be stunned if he somehow lost. It would be an early favorite for Upset of the Year if it happened.
What do you thinks up with me? I have asked people who they think would win if this fight were to happen. This post is a few years old which once again shows my fantastic and underated prediction abilities that keeps me ahead of the other posters on ESB
I think Ruslan Provodnikov could binifit from the backlash towards Bradley after the Pacquiao fight. Just as Bradley binifited from the backlash towards Pacquiao after the 3rd Marquez fight. Ruslan Provodnikov by close and posibily contervusial decision.
A B+ fighter vs. an A fighter. Bradley is going to run away with this. Too bad he has no power though...otherwise it would be even more fun.
Failey, how it Ward not on your P4P list? Bradley has a real chance of the KO tonight, it all depends on how well he can dictate a lack of distance.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This content is protected I asked who people thought would win, as I saw a close fight that could go either way. The backlash the thread took is here for all to see, but it shows I knew what I was talking about. My score of the fight R1. Provodnikov 10/9 R2. Provodnikov 10/9 R3. Bradley 10/9 R4. Bradley 10/9 R5. Bradley 10/9 R6. Provodnikov 10/9 R7. Bradley 10/9 R8. Bradley 10/9 R9. Bradley 10/9 R10. Bradley 10/9 R11. Provodnikov 10/9 R12. Provodnikov 10/8 I think the first round should possibly have been scored a 10/8 to Provodnikov, but scored it as a 10/9 for arguement sake. Making Bradley a 114/113 winner. A draw would have been a fair result as the first round and possibly the second could have been called 10/8 rounds Now lets look at what the posters had to say when I asked how they thought this fight would go, below. Typical ESB self-ownage as usual. Maybe 5-10% of the posters in the General have any idea what they're talking about.
Bailey I didn't keep a scorecard but that's how mine would look. Like a lot of the commentators were saying I would ahve made round 2 a 10-8 round. A lot of judges too are used to only doing that by the number of knockdowns and I think that was even clearer in this case. Had Bradley been in a state with a standing 8 count, he would have been given it...to me that is a 10-8 (in addition to being dominated). He barely had consciousness, was throwing pitter patters, no power behind them and was out on his feet completely. Two of the judges 10-9 and gave it to 114-113 to Bradley, those two, had the ref rules the first knockdown, would have made the match a majority draw. I would agree with that decision more. Provodikov is a force to reckon with. Honestly didn't see a smart Tim, or rythem in Prov..dude barely threw a jab and followed it up with a cross, no body shots. So lots of power and loading. Was I also the only one amused by Freddie...and his usual spiel and shitt corner. It seemed like people were dilly dallying and took 30 seconds before even touching the gash over Prov's eye. And the usual Freddie ..."You gotta knock him out" spiel. I dont doubt him being a great trainer but I remember when Khan got knocked down too...no ice no nothing after he came to the corner. Need to seriously work on that
A draw looked a fair result, mainly due to the way Bradley was hurt so often, but I dont think anmyone could doubt Bradleys powers of recovery. Your post is an interesting read
Judging by this post here and by my thread started nearly 3 years ago, It looks like I know more. Who is this Failey you speak of? My P4P list doesnt have Ward on it either How has Ward done more than the names in the top 10 I have put forward here? There are a couple of names I would put in the top 10 before I would put Ward in. As said this was a quick list and Mares at 10 was debateable, and R Gonzalez, D Garcia could possibly have gone in there. I dont think Ward fighting already beaten fighters at home, weak era, whilst not seeming like he wanted to fight Bute is yet P4P, though he would be in the top 15
