I said the general media too though.
You've defended several fights (in general not just Tim) not happening based on the financial implications so I'm surprised at your not interested if a fighter becomes a draw or not. Who would you like to see him in with next btw? :think

And just too much Crainey. Dial it down next time and I might bite:yep

I didn't defend them at all, I just said I understood why Bradley made the decisions he did. He was right to do so as well, as history has subsequently proved. The "general" boxing media flip-flops constantly - awful knee-jerk opinion-led "reporting".

Marquez if he stays at 147 would be an interesting fight. Ortiz, even though he's a complete flake, would make for an interesting bout, although the promotional issues mean that will never happen.

Just looked at Ring's WW rankings, and hilariously it had Guerrero above Bradley.

History has proved what exactly? He got $5M for fighting Pac and had to backtrack on his "run baby run" call out of Khan. He also had to endure a fight with Casamayor which was abysmal matchmaking by Bob. None of that helped put money in the pot for the PPV did it?
If he took the Khan fight ($2M) and won he could have been making potentially $10M for Floyd. As you say it's a lot of money to gamble with if you not 100% confident of winning. It's all about opinions as you say though:D

He wouldn't have made that against Floyd. Total supposition there. And you know why he wasn't keen on the Khan fight, and it was nothing to do with Khan.

Interview with JMM saying Bradley over Pac and Arum can suck it!

“It motivates me more to look for a fifth divisional championship. I believe that any sportsman or professional wants to achieve certain goals and that's why another belt inspires me more. And what's better than facing an opponent - who for me is a great fighter, tough and difficult, like Timothy Bradley. My family has the last word [on my future]. I am not a puppet for anybody. I will not allow myself to move forward based on what a promoter or other [industry] people say. My decision [regarding the future of my career] is firm - if it is no then it is no and if it is yes, then it is yes. The surest thing is that there will not be a fifth fight with Manny Pacquiao, and yes there will be a [fight for a] fifth championship," Marquez said.

Pacquaio better get on his hands and knees and suck some Mexican **** if he wants ANOTHER fight with Marquez.

Marquez dont need to prove anything, the job is FINALLY done for him. Marquez dont need Pacquiao, Pacquiao now needs Marquez.
