Wow if there was extra points scored for conditioning this guy would win without even throwing a punch!

Ripped does not equal conditioning. He MAY be well conditioned...but this picture is no indication whatsoever.

Juan Urango is ripped like hell, but isn't that great a fighter, having been schooled by Hatton (on a off night for the Hitman as well)

I think you might be the one missing the point of conditioning in the fight game. Being conditioned is being prepared to go for 3 minutes of 12 hard rounds not looking ripped. JC is VERY well conditioned fighter, he just never looks it. On the otehr hand a guy like Frank Bruno had questionable conditioning.

No it doesn't. Conditioning in a boxing sense refers to fitness and abiltiy to fight hard over the duration of the fight. Being ripped does not equate to conditioning in boxing. And it's comprende.

He wasn't saying being ripped equal talent. He was just saying that Bradley looks EXTREMELY ripped and well conditioned, which he does. And anyone trying to say that looking like Bradley doesn't mean you're well conditioned is dead wrong.

everything you just mentioned refers to his physique. please look it up, the rest are right, conditioning is mainly to do with fitness levels. seriously dude, physique is shown in this picture, not conditioning. if u had a video of him running a marathon or doing a strenuous circuit training session or going 12 hard rounds and looking fresh then that would be his conditioning.

Ok, so then you couldn't tell that De La Hoya had terrible conditioning for teh Sturm fight. What a joke. What your body looks like is in direct relation to conditioning.

If i was you id look up what CONDITIONING means. Here il do it for you:

..Exercise is a component of physical activity. The distinguishing characteristic of exercise is that it is a structured activity specifically planned to develop and maintain physical fitness. Physical conditioning refers to the development of physical fitness through the adaptation of the body and its various systems to an exercise program.

Now this is a hollistic definition of the word conditioning. Conditioning isnt a word that has a definitive meaning. Its subjective depending on the sport in question. BUT im not talking about his FITNESS in relation to boxing, and have pointed this out counteless times since the beginning of the thread. What im talking about is his physical conditioning which has NO relation to his Cardio or CV conditioning.
