Of course you box. Everyones a boxer on this forum and everyones a strength and conditioning coach. You blatantly do not know what conditioning is and that is very clear from your post. Do NOT try and patronise me when the definitions in terms that YOU are using are absolutely and fundamentally incorrect. ANYONE with even a fraction of knowledge on conditioning knows this. Its clear you do not and thus its not worth us debating the point. I have already given the PRECISE definition of the word "conditioning" on this thread and its correlation to sports fitness already. If i was you id take a leaf out of my own book and admit that you clearly dont know what your talking about and have raised a point that had absolutely nothing to do with the thread title.
I'm sure everyone isn't a boxer...but I am! I train in a pro gym in berkshire UK and box amateur. When boxing coaches refer to conditioning they are talking about fitness and ability to fight hard for the duration of a fight. Not just CV conditioning as boxing requires more than just that. I'll take a wild stab in the dark that you're a yank...you have the wrong definition for conditioning in boxing. Think what you want, but conditioning cannot be told from a photo.
No thats not what you're talking about. You're talking about how ripped he is. Conditioning when you're talking about BOXING refers VERY SPECIFICALLY to the work that goes into increasing stamina, giving a boxer a big ass gas tank so they can go the full 12 rounds. How he looks is NO indication of his conditioning. He could look like that from weight training for all you know. I got what you're saying but they do have a point. 99% of the time when someone on this forum talks about conditioning they're talking about how it relates to their stamina. Guy looks very impressive though. Reminds me of Roy Jones, Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley, etc etc. I think its amazing how looks can be deceiving though. Kelly Pavlik doesn't look cut like that, but he's a beast. Same for many fighters.
Bradley has good stamina, so in that respect, his conditioning is fine. Despite all that muscle, he's not much of a puncher, and he makes too many mistakes to beat Witter. I'll take Witter by lopsided decision on this one, but I do like Bradley and I do think he can eventually improve enough to win a belt.
Wow this thread is hilarious. You should not post in the general forum Scurla. Bradley look very well conditioned.
Hell of a build for sure:good That said it doesnt necessarily equal having great stamina nor mean he can out box Witter, but he looks fantastic.
Shall we start a poll to see who was the better "conditioned" fighter - JC, who could go 12, or B-Hop who looked better, but needed a breather?
Love the post! You answered your own question but im sure there's still people here who would would vote for beeerrrrrrrnaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrdddd.
