I didnt judge your morality or your honour. I said you were a biased ***** and whiny as **** on this topic, and thats based on your post. You could be the second coming of Ghandi on other issues for all I know, but on Pac-Bradley you are incredibly biased. Bias isnt a bad thing, everyone is biased to some degree
I believe Tim feels that he's trapped in a corner right now, feeling depressed and disheartened about the events that passed. All this backed up by what his trainer said, about Tim losing his love for Boxing. His actions and reactions from the time the last bell rang to weeks after speak volumes of how Tim really felt, despite what he may have said and whatever blind Pacquiao critics and rabid Bradley fans have posted. I do not believe he feels he won. - 'I have to watch the tapes...' is not something a winner says after beating an ATG. - Neither he not his corner had their hands up signifying victory after the last bell. - Mentioning a rematch before Manny did. You won, why say anything about a rematch? Especially during the night of the bout. That coupled with the massive media and public backlash against him, not to mention the disgraceful death threats against him, just compounds the situation he's in. It's too late for him to admit he lost the fight; people would call him a liar and a fraud. He can't/won't give up the belt, it'd be a hollow move anyway. The more I dwell on it the more I feel sorry for Tim. 5 separate judges re-scoring the fight, news of that would' further crushed me were I Tim. Pride, admiration and glory are what real prizefighters fight for and rightfully, or wrongly, they were stripped from Bradley. This decision and 'victory' is going to haunt Tim for the rest of his life.
not surprised you think that way, guys like you revel in their ignorance, like pigs who love rolling in their own ****, cant imagine anything different because thats all they know. born from ****, here to make more **** and then die in their own ****.
To all the people who think it's just a check and a decision. You are all absolutely wrong. There is an effect that takes place on the psyche of a fighter in Tim's place. He won. He got the decision, but 99% of the boxing-public don't consider him the Champ. It's like a giant wave of denial, his victory will always be washed with the fact that most people don't believe he won. He could barely hear himself talk into the mic when they announced him as 'the NEW!' because of all incessant 'boo'ing' after he leaves the venue the everything, the hate, the ridicule, the doubting, the catcalls, only intensified. As far as what I think concerning how he feels. No. He is glad he got the decision. He trained hard for the ring and fought his fight. However, the pride garnered from his victory doesn't exist. Virtually no one think's he won the fight besides maybe his own constituency, maybe.. It's more than a check in the fight game, the morale and energy that victories gives a fighter has a lot to do with their mental state, and a lot to do with their performance. All most no one -besides the ringside judges- scored the fight for Bradley. The sweetness of physically dominating an opponent isn't there, the sweetness of winning over the public isn't there, the recognition isn't there. Official judges came afterward and reviewed the fight and scored it 'properly'... Timothy Bradley got the decision against Pac, but he did not 'win' he will always have to say 'I think I won', 'I feel that I won' but the sentiment is not shared by most of the public. Yes, this will have an effect on him and his legacy. A lifetime of scrutiny awaits Tim The New.
i did watch the fight you know. have my own eyes and all. he looked demoralized after 3 or 4 rounds. knew he couldn't win it. he was just surviving and hoping he didn't get knocked out. he achieved that, but nothing else.
I'm sure Timmy is now enjoying is hard earned money right now and he's looking forward to make more money once he fights Pacquio once more!
Bradley knows deep down that he didn't beat Manny... Oh he knows! That said, he's still a good fighter. Tim could still beat plenty of other champions... He was facing a Boxing god on June 9th.. He got dominated, oh well! Life goes on, atleast Tim didn't get knocked out!
If Tim Bradley thinks like his trainer Joel Diaz, then he is thinking this... "it hasn't been fun" "there's no way we can enjoy a victory like that" "I run into people and even though they gave us the support, I just hate the fact that they say, "hey congratulations, it wasn't your fault." You never hear, "hey congratulations, you did a great job". Maybe one out of ten times I hear that. On the scene.
Pacquiao knows all to well! http://www.rappler.com/sports/8070-the-controversial-ronnie-nathanielsz yep
Umm, he did win actually, the record books say he won, box rec says he won and where it counts - he won. To anyone who says it will effect his mindset, well Pac got schooled by JMM - only to get the decision, which was embarrassing for Pac. Yet he then came out and performed against Bradley without any ill effects. This thread is bull****, Bradley would be sitting at home, counting his coin, waiting for another pay day - and he would believe he won on one leg, and he would only have taken confidence out of the win. Every man and their dog wanted to tell you that Bradley would be knocked out in the fight - yet he more than held his own, so he would DEFINATELY go into the next fight with more confidence than the last, which is scary.
