Bradley is such a wild card. It's impossible to tell whether he'll be willing to bang for the entire fight ala the provodnikov fight, or if he'll utilize his excellent boxing abilities in the same manner that he fought against Marquez.

If he decides to stay in the pocket and bang, than it can be a competitive fight. If he decides to stick and move and fight a more technical fight, he should cruise to an easy UD. It's all dependent on which version of Bradley shows up.

Yeah, the final run-time had me worried, but again, it was down to a time crunch with only a few days left until today and no prospects of getting much time left in my schedule to work on it.

There was a lot I'd been hoping to do a bit differently, particularly in the wrap-up segment where I wanted to specifically address the "mini-bits" from the gym and how each combatant's respective strengths & weaknesses gone over in those parts would make for challenges & opportunities for the other.

...but at the same time, contrarily, I had originally envisioned a run-time of more like ~20min, or at the most 25. I'm not sure how I would've pulled that off even with more time spent on it. :yep There was probably room for tightening everything up (shortening the bag work or truncating some of my analysis to include only the most salient points and get rid of pauses or superfluous/repetitive statements) but I'm not sure that would've shaved a significant amount off the sum length. :think

I guess I'm okay with it, as long as nobody's bored to death or regrets investing the half a hour on it!

    Nice effort IB.

Particularly liked the shots of Rios getting hit to the body. You're right, it's all relative, but I didn't notice he'd always step back and reset.

Also my instinct was to point out Rios's underrated head movement, but he really has neglected it and it only shines chest to chest against the likes of Antillion. Subtle rolling and slipping. He'll need that.

Great point about Tim's balance too. I've always said it looks like his head is so heavy it throws him off. I thought he was doing it on purpose but naw. He tries to slip an inch and it becomes a mile.

And good work identifying Bradley's favorite combos. Rios definitely has to punch with him and not do that "oh ****" hiding in his guard thing than he does when hit with a fast combination.

    Also, two questions IB:

Have you noticed any meaningful change in the media workouts Tim has shown so far?

And what do you think is Rios's best ring-cutting performance? Maybe Acosta?

Cotto vs. Alvarez is already in the planning stages, and there may be one for Klitschko vs. Fury as well. (though Rummy has already done a fine video on it, and is a hard act to follow!)

I haven't really had a chance to catch them, honestly.

Definitely, yes, he effectively ruined Acosta's career with that performance.

    HAH.

I've been on here since shortly after the site started up and then there was that problem where some of the site went down and I had to re-register using the same name but different capitalization in 2007.

Sometimes a big part of the misconceptions came from posters that always sported the same avatars. For the life of me I cant remember yours but I'm pretty sure it was either Chaves or Duran ....

Unless my Old Timers is kicking in again.
