Yeah, especially with Rios having apparently had a great deal of trouble making weight (I understand he needed to, ahem, eliminate 4oz worth of waste to make the welterweight limit? ...and he's a former longtime campaigner @ lightweight!) I see his bulk & style bogging him down in the face of Bradley's superior boxing.

...and yet I can't shake the feeling that Bradley will get stupid at some point. Bradley nearly always gets stupid.

Bradley has been gifted a silver platter tonight with Rios having trouble with the weight. If he doesn't stay outside and box (no matter what happens or what stray detritus he gets hit with) he is officially the dumbest man in boxing.

 

He's going to eat himself into 154lb and there soak up enough brain damage to develop Parkinson's in his early thirties, isn't he? :-(

So, thank you to my compatriots for your attention (even if you only spared it for approximately 15% of the video's run time.. ) - plus a cordial tip of the hat to all you riveted Hungarians, and my neighbors in Canada, and the legion IB fans in Turkey.

However, a big fat

to all the Brits, Mexicans, Japanese, Arabs, Belgians and Croatians!! On average, they dropped out after just a minute!

That means they didn't even wait until after the intro graphics & song clip to get an idea of what it was going to actually be like. So why bother even clicking in the first place?!?

 

So, while head clashes didn't become the underlining factor I believed, I did get the round at least. :yep

...and, less to do with dumb luck, was correct in that Rios had no answer for the body attack of Bradley, and was affected by it (worsened of course by his struggles to make weight).
