These two did not belong in the same ring together, Whyte was completely above him in every department. This was sold to the fans as a competitive great fight so they had to make it seem like that, if Whyte had jumped on him in the first round when he had Chisora badly hurt, and stopped him, the farce this fight was would be clear to see. Whyte lands the right straight in the first round with EASE, and smiles as he does so. For the next 10 rounds Chisora was there to be hit but Whyte barely threw that straight right again? Chisora was also wide open to the left hook, Whytes signature punch, and Whyte doesnt throw it till the 11th? I'm not saying this is a fix but watching the fight something was very off to me. Watch how little urgency Whyte has the whole fight.
Agree completely. Whyte is ATG HW, but he tries all he could not to show it to anyone. I think he was losing this fight on cards on purpose, and he will lose the AJ rematch for the same reason.
truth is both whyte and chisora looked like garbage tonight and joshua will knock out whyte in a rematch easier this time.
You're looking for conspiracies where there is none. Whyte's approach was clear he wasn't going to jump on a proven durable guy like Chisora and get drawn into a war early, he decided to pace himself and that paid of in comparison to Chisora who over exerted himself in the first half and faded. As for why he stopped throwing the right hand, it's because 1 Chisora wasn't jabbing as much and leaving himself open to it and 2 Chisora was later in the fight rolling under the right and countering with a left hook.
I was close to throwing my laptop into the wall when my BT stream went down literally as it was heating up.
He's got a point, Chisora was there for the taking early, you don't let them off the hook when there like that even if its not the game plan. He definitely drew the fight out for what ever reason
I'm not even saying WHyte is good, just Chisora is truly awful. He isn't even European level, anyone with a jab and feet could make him look foolish.
