Hi Folks, just a little tip for the national, not boxing related but i don't think u will care if this wins. Vic Venturi won the bechers chase a couple of years ago (@ Aintree) by 75 lengths. It was then in the national but the handicappers hammered it based on that impressive display and i think it was carrying 11-12, which is too much weight, the year after it was carrying 11-5, again too heavy i think, which brings me to this year. My dad said to me last week, if Vic Venturi gets a run i'm gonna back it (it was 4th reserve at the time) its only carrying 10 stone. Hes just arrived at Aintree now for Ladies day and hes heard its got a run. Its 100-1 with Hills right now so defo worth an each way shout as its 1 of the bottom weights. The racing post have also tipped it today on page 19 so that price will defo tumble. Don't go crazy on it but i rekon its worth a cheeky each way shot. VIC VENTURI

The last slice is my pick for the race, its an outsider but definately in with a shout. Ive also done Dusty Carpet, its never been beaten but the national is a big step up for it.
