I've been having some success with this move, albeit against novices and intermediates ...its simple, really...when my opponent comes in, I step slightly to the left, dip my left shoulder, and let them run right into my straight right, or depending on their position, a hook ir cross.

What are ways I can perfect this? What should I watch out for when trying this against the experienced guys?

Care to post an example from fight footage? From your description it just sounds like a basic stiff right as they come in.

For the straight right maybe just try to not drop your left shoulder and keep it up to protect from a right hook and left infront of your face and chin tucked way in, i think it would be better if you didnt drop your shoulders down and stayed up straight and hit with the right and moved away to their right your left and give them more angles dont just stay in there, Hearns did it well against Hagler of course he went the other way cause Hagler was a southpaw but you get it, i hope :good

everyone does this in my gym, not much i can say to help but keep practicing. I prefer stepping to the right with my right foot, or stepping back with my right foot and putting more weight on it, then throwing a straight when you slip the jab.

I understand what your doing.....it will work best with the beginning guys who tend to run in and fall in with punches
