    Hey all,

I'm new to boxing. I'm 30 years old and have been learning boxing for about 6-7 months. I only go 2-3 times a week and usually just practice alone. This is partly due to the fact I live in South Korea, I don't speak Korean too well yet and coach doesn't speak much English, we try though. Sometimes I'll hit the pads with him and sometimes I'll do some very light sparring with other people there (who do speak English).

I have some footage of me hitting the bag and I was thinking to take some shadow boxing soon. I was wondering is it okay to post the videos here to get tips? Do you guys even think that will be productive? I just want to get better and know what things to work on.

Every session i do, i take videos. I go over them after with my coach, and he tells be what i did wrong. But then i also go over it alone, and after about 2-3 times of nitpicking my session i find even smaller details to work on. Film analysis has helped me tighten up on some mistakes. I think its crucial. Im not yet good but ive seen small improvements that im happy about. I think you should try doing film analysis and see if it works for you.
