Tired of Ann Wolfe Excuses

He never been good to be honest he's super entertaining to watch and a ring warrior. But is he world champion material? No he isn't and he never has been.

He's got way to many weaknesses for that. For one he's a brawler with a glassjaw that should pretty much say it all.

 

For crying out loud, he could have Eddie Futch, Angelo Dundee and Emmanuel Steward in his corner and his super-fragile glass jaw would still get him knocked out. atsch

Damn, this is why so many fighters would rather not take chances or fight anyone they might lose against.

Someone gets a loss, and all of a sudden, he's a bum, a B or C level, etc.

Dude fought in an exciting way that was awesome to watch for fans and non-fans alike.

Anne Wolfe brings out the best in her fighters. BUT
The story goes beyond that . It started with Pops Billingsly taking a girl off the streets who was in trouble had nothing. Trained her & channeled her aggression . He made her one of the best ever Female boxers. They have a strong bond. Anne & Pops together took Kirkland off the streets, where he had nothing. Gave him a home & tried to straighten him out too
Trouble is Kirkland couldn't forget the streets & got in serious trouble again & again .He let down Anne & Pops badly several times. He had chance after chance but blew it
Remember Bernard Hopkins started out the same way. He was in jail for strong arm robbery, though he never used a gun. He met Bouie Fisher who took him under his wing just like Pops & Anne did. Bouie straightened out Bernard who turned his life around. Look at him now? A wealthy happily married man with a great family who is still capable of kicking the asses of most Lt Heavyweights

kirklands style was never going to last long. Hopkins is one of the crafiest fighters of all time, kirkland is a punchbag, and when these punchbags meet good boxers they get slaughtered. Learn some friggin defence if you want to be a top fighter, why didnt they teach him defence.
