Tired of "injuries" before fight time!?

I will give him the benefit of the doubt. A lot of the old timers fought injured all the time.

 

So if he´d stank out the joint fighting and disclosed his injury after the fact, would you be happier?

 

1. Not for this kind of money.
2. A loss then had a different meaning than a loss now. We are in loss averse age of boxing and its screwing up the sport.

 

But still managed to become WBC champion in his next fight against Froch.

Pretty good for a fighter who doesn´t want to fight.

 

STFU. Kessler is a warrior. Injuries are a part of this game. Especially for fighters who have been around as long as Kessler.

You don't like injuries? Go watch team sports where they have subs. Boxing is hard. You don't play this crap.

Kessler is injured in training. Many, many fighters has cancel/postpone fights before cause of injuries. So this thread is useless and should be deleted.

 

I think i read on here that he was having problems judging elevation rather than horizontal distance.

Kessler said he found it hard to walk up/down stairs.

 

So now Boxing requires the same eye coordination and is as intense as driving? :think

well i drive but after shattering a cheekbone in sparring and having a metal one put in i got limited vision in the ring i couldnt see hooks or any wide shots coming so i basicalyl had to give up but i can still drive fine

 

IDK with the coke bottle crack, but it's a sad set of circumstance anyways.:-(

There is no way Kessler would back out of this fight with a fake injury. Fighters who go through with a fight despite an injury for a payday, should keep it to themselves and not use the injury as an excuse, like Haye did. If any validity is given to the excuse, then we must feel manipulated and misled if we by tickets or PPV. Thanks to Kessler for demonstating some integrity.
