Paul's take on the revered franchise has given it a much-needed shot-in-the-arm and I fully expect this game to take off with sports fans and hard-core boxing ringrats. The game is overflowing with world class boxers from every nation on earth, from legends of the sport to present-day stars of the squared-circle. You can match the all-time greats against each other or even introduce your own fighters randomly created by the game itself. The latter tool is part of the foundation for Title Bout 2014, the long-awaited career version of this terrific series.." ...excerpt from post on another forum. This sounds really awesome and it's only a double sawbuck.:bbb ...
I'm not selling anything. Just a fan spreading the word to other fans. No other profit for me. :bbb ...
It is a good update and it moves the series forward from where it was stuck in neutral a long long time ... Andreas had grand ideas for the game but didn't have the time to focus on it, Paul is off to a fantastic start, has delivered on all his comments (which is something TBCB have been burned on so many times from so many owners in the past) ... he is committed to moving it forward to the role-playing version (right now it is a replay version) to where you are signing fighters to a stable and the game progresses on it's own ... I believe we will see that version by the end of 2014 ... the TBCB2013 version sets that in motion and it is priced accordingly ... love the direction the game is finally going in
I played this it is absoloute dog sh!t Dont ever buy it if you are reading this, complete waste of money. Garbage ps no ads
not for everyone because right now the game is a replay sim and not a career sim, so you actually have to have some imagination to make it worth while ... as a replay sim I used it for outcomes of fights for a five year span and the game was 87% in predicting the correct winner so that isn't exactly dog **** but like I said it is a game and it is not for everyone ... also considering ringrat isn't the owner of the game, nor does he profit from the game at all, I don't see how that qualifies as and ad ... it would be like me posting reviews of a movie and saying it is worth the 10 bucks to see ... same difference
Been a long time fan of this game, great for staging `what if` fights like Lewis v Bowe, McGuigan v Nelson, Mayweather v Pacquiao, etc. All that’s missing is a manager mode so you can guide a fighters career and this new version is a step in the right direction for that. For $20 it’s well worth it imho
Like the man says, if you have an imagination this is a great game. Of course this requires a brain. Canadian Tire has them on sale, slightly used, for $29.99. That Dollysecs guy should test-drive one. ...
