Tito robbed DLH and was much bigger than Withaker.

dlh ran like a ***** to avoid getting KO is as simple as that tito's power was starting to affect him in those latter rds

You love whitaker dude and so do I ... but Tito completely beat him up ... I've never seen whitaker get hit that much...He even went down on his own ...just sat on the ropes because he couldn't handle Tito's offenseGranted he was coming off a layoff of a little under 2 years and fought valiantly giving a good account of himself but he just couldn't hang with Tito that night Pea also stayed in the pocket alot more in that fight and elected to exchange with tito hence the broken jaw I always wondered why Pea didn't use more movement

DLH ran in the last 3 or 4 rounds, but Tito didn't win enough rounds to get the decision.
Unless there is a new scoring method, DLH won the fight.

I sill can't beleive that in this day and age people still think Tito should be ranked higher than Oscar??

And I feltWilfredo Benitez has a stronger case than Tito ,Tito may be the most popular but he was too 1 dimensional to be considered PR's greatest fighter !

It was argued by many experts that Whitaker never lost a pro fight and the set backs he did have were in his favor.

DLH gave away that fight and Tito came on strong ... if you watch the fight over and see how the judges scored it ... then you wouldn't be talking about a robbery.

Tito started dominating from the 8th round on when Pea's age and condition truly started to show. For the first 7 rounds, it was a pretty even fight, with Tito actually doing his most effective work from mid-range, while Pea was getting the better of the inside exchanges oddly enough. He didn't use movement because at that stage of his career he simply no longer had the abilities to do so. He was truly a shot fighter. His heart and pride are what kept him in that fight. Anybody that calls Pea a runner simply doesn't have a clue about the man.

And further more by the time Pea fought Tito he was in and out of drug rehab ..A shell of his former self far from it !! How anyone can be proud of that win is beyond me !! Its no diffrent than Joppy beating Duran !!

Tito beat dlh thats one he went undefeated at WW and 154 put up a more competitive fight against Bhop beat vargas up so bad that the vargas dlh fought was not even half of the one tito fought same goes with mayorga beat a champ in david reid clean out 147 and 154 beat sweet pea WAY more convincinly than odlh even pea said tito was a much better fighter than odlh after the fight tell me aside from quartey what other top fighter did oscar beat:huh :huh tito beat guys like vargas so badly that it would have been better for tito if he took it a little easier on vargas cause maybe he's career will have lasted longer and could have stacked up some wins that made titos win over him look better and for last TITO was a warrior with bigger balls than what de la hoya could dream of having

Felix Trinidad from my point of view the best puertorican fighter ever, since i never has the chance to see Gomez & Benitez, but i wouldnt mind that hes listed 2nd or 3rd.

He was better than Oscar De La Hoya who came to the fight of the milenium to run in the so called "championship round" you just cant do that and expect to get away with a win

That's because it wasn't scored a knockdown for whatever reason. They scored Tito's KD but not Pea's body shot KD. I suppose the ref assumed he tripped or whatever, but there was clearly a punch involved in the fall, and it was in fact the main cause of it.

I love posts like these :
Trinidad's win over Oscar was far from a beating or a win for that matter lets classify that as a GIFT !!

And the Hopkins fight well lets put it like this Oscar won maybe 2 rds tops against Hopkins while Tito was shut out what were u watching ??

But I will never argue who had bigger balls if thats what makes you a fan fine but both fighters have impressive resumes Oscar though was more successful ..Its the truth plain and simple !

what pisses me off is that people dont see there is a reason why odlh ran for 6 rds against tito, he was starting to feel the POWER to the body and head and it was starting to affect him, so he decided to run so he could avoided getting hit. There is always a reason behind something,, odlh lost all of the hardcore mexican fans that day
