How can DLH claim he was robbed when there weren't any knock downs or any rounds that Oscar dominated Tito ... he never had Tito hurt and if you actually seen the fight Tito had Oscar hurt and on the defensive for most of the latter rounds.

I agree that he is a great fighter, but Oscar made him look silly for 9 rounds and should have had the victory

I scored the fight 116-112 for Oscar De La Hoya which means robbery. It was a robbery that i was happy about, only because in the past Oscar was always given the nod in close fights (Whitaker, Quartey for example)

Wasn't it Oscar that wanted the rematch, chasing Tito all over Puerto Rico, taking him to dinner and trying to get him out of retirement. I believe it was Tito Sr. who didn't want the rematch. He probably felt that Tito was exposed and didn't want his son to be OUTClassed again.

Really?? I think PBF outboxes him for a clear UD personally. I think Cotto could potentially beat him, although we need to see him become more of a boxer puncher first, that could actually out skill Tito. Cotto certainly has the skills IMO, but whether he can apply them effectively against top level boxer punchers remains to be seen to an extent.

I think Tito is a terrible matchup for Cotto, and would have him out of there within 6. I think Floyd has the style to beat a 130 pound lesser version of Tito in Corrales, but not a bigger, stronger, more skilled version of the same fighter 17 pounds up when Floyd doesn't have the same legs, which are what won the fight with Corrales, along with activity. Tito would quite possibly stop Floyd, but he'd certainly have him on the defensive all night. But I'm high right now. I actually think I do my best analysis when high.

The problem with Mayweather and Trinidad at 147 is the fact that Mayweather isn't the same fighter he was in the lower weight classes. His movement has decreased, his strength is less potent, and those are the two key elements needed to beat a prime Trinidad. Mayweather isn't a big guy like Wright or Hopkins and he doesn't have the power of De La Hoya. He's physically much smaller.

This version of Mayweather who languishes on the ropes would get busted up by Trinidad who had top notch accuracy and certainly would find the mark, hurting him in the process. Trinidad's underrated jab at 147 would give Mayweather fits in the sense that it would nullify Floyd's potshotting. One shot at a time isn't going to get the job done against Trinidad. He would make Mayweather fight and impose himself, putting Mayweather more on the defensive than we've ever seen him.

Cotto couldn't beat Trinidad coming forward, so his only bet is to outbox him and outmanuver him. I can't see him being successful for too long though since 1) Trinidad could deal with Cotto's movement (as it isn't at the level of a Hopkins or De La Hoya) and effectively pressure him and 2) because Trinidad would hit him with something big. As improved as Cotto's chin is at 147, it's not good enough to take Trinidad's best shots. I see this as a bad matchup for Miguel, ending early or in the middle rounds.

Damn to even say Trinidad is a 17lb heavier more skilled version of Corrales is such a comment to Corrales and such a burn on Trinidad. Maybe thats not what you meant, But I don't see a comparison between Trinidad and Corrales other than height lol.

I called him a bigger, stronger, more skilled version. Corrales is Tito-Lite both in stature and skill.

Prime Trinidad 5'11 would KO Floyd. A few of Trinidad's punches would slow lil Floyd down I mean C'mon Floyd isn't the dominant powerful fighter he was at 130-135. We're talking about one of the greatest punchers @147lbs ever.

And we're saying that Floyd Mayweather a former 130lber would shrug Trinidad's punches off? As soon as Trinidad's power effectively lands, And Trinidad's straight punches WILL LAND, it would slow Floyd down. Floyd slows down, Tito would KO Floyd the second he experienced a brain fart.

Castillo had his fair share of licks on Floyd. Trinidad 5'11 better skilled, harder pressure, 10x stronger punching power, Many times faster....No doubt in my mind that Trinidad would beat Floyd
