I think you'll find that I'm very consistent with my scoring from fight to fight. Usually when a fighter is busy, and the other is not, I'll usually side with the busy fighter. I think alot of people were looking for Trinidad to be able to hurt Jones when he let his hands loose, but the fact that Trinidad was'nt moving Jones with his shots had alot of people discrediting his work. Had Jones mantained a similar workrate to Trinidad's in those early to mid rounds to Trinidad, I'd have probably given Jones more rounds. ....but Jones did'nt mantain a good enough workrate imo to merit the rounds that most people gave him. In fact, Trindad's defense through most of the early to mid rounds was solid. Aside from the right hand to the temple that caught Tito clean and hard, there was'nt a whole lot of clean hard shots that Jones hit Trinidad with, certainly Trinidad was just caroming body shots off of Jones sides, and those are scoring body shots! I dont know what it is with alot of folks, even judges, they dont give credence to a good body blow. I think body shots are great, and they're part of the scoring area to attribute points to.
In my view, Trindad mantained a better activity level than Jones for most of the first 9 rounds..... .....yes, Trinidad's activity level decreased significantly through the last 3 rounds, all of which Jones won handily on my scorecard!
The kds helped out but I didn't agree with some of the scoring ..And I don't know about anyone else but I have had it up to atsch with Leddermans score card ..
i have also his cards are getting ridiculous and sometimes i dont even think he is looking at the fight......lederman is shot
I was thinking about the Hatton/MW fight some of the **** he was saying was soooooooooo far off and then this fight ..Its time for a new voice doing the scorecards bring in Atalas ..
You need to stope listening to that crack pipe and pass that *****! It's doing a number on your eyes and ability to comprehend reality.:hat
There was about three close rounds in this fight. Two of which I gave to Tito, one of which I gave to Jones. I came out with an 116-110 scorecard for Jones. There is simply NO WAY this fight was a draw, or anything close to a draw. Rounds 1,2,3 and 5 for Tito. Rounds 4,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12 for Jones. Rounds 7 and 10 being 10-8 rounds. Vlade, I think your card here is your worst to date, and that includes your Whitaker-Chavez draw and JMM-John shutout. :-(
I wont even waste my time in arguing with you on this one Scientist. According to you, Trinidad won only two clear rounds in the fight. Thats hillarious in itself. Theres no point in even beggining to debate when someone spews out hogwash like that. I stand by my analysis of the fight on this thread!
I gave Tito the first three rounds... A couple others were close but i felt Roy stole them towards the end... It was a dominating performance by Roy IMO.
I just rewatched it again coming away with an 8-4 decision for Jones. It's not close man....it just isn't.
