Tito or Hearns? Who had the bigger power...

Trinidad was a brutal puncher as was Hearns. Both are top 5 bangers at 147 without question in my view. It doesn't matter where you rank them h2h or p4p.

 

No...a couple of replies were people talking about his power as a top 4, He couldn't KO Whitaker whereas I'm sure Hearns if he caught him clean would have done but ok, I'm not disagreeing. I did read the OP's title.
He grant's post was about Trinidad's record in general, not quite as good as Hearns overall, etc.

 

THIS doesn't read to me as a post just concerning Trinidad's Power, If I'm mistaken, learn how to illustrate your point a bit better.

They were the two hardest punching welters I've seen but I'm open to any suggestions for bigger. Clearly SRR was up there and was a better fighter than both but Hearns is my personal choice as a puncher but to each their own.

You accused JT of ranking Tito as a top 4 all time Welter when he didnt. My opinion is Hearns is a bigger puncher than Tito but there's not a lot in it. That's it. Whats incorrect about that?

Hegrant mounted a good case for Trinidad being a top flight puncher and fighter and I also agree with that. I disagree that he was better than Hearns but I don't think Hegrant said that either he just provided some perspective in regards to Tommy's welterweight record. Tito fought a lot longer at Welter made more successful defenses and was undefeated at the weight all of which Hearns wasn't. In saying that I think Hearns beats Tito at 147 but that's just my opinion which I'm entitled to as Hegrant is to his.

If you're a real and not a alt which I currently doubt, perhaps you should learn how to read and write in addition to studying the sport before making such dumb posts.

Hearns completely dominated Andries who wasn`t a good finisher anyway.
