Tito Ortiz accepts Evans fight!!

Tito has had some serious injury's. But it would be great to see him win this. Although t be fair i don't give him much of a chance. Without the ability to take it to the mat he's between a rock and a hard place. As Machida is very unorthodox standing and equally as competent on the ground. The UFC will be paying him handsomely for this.

 

Good for Tito, he's getting ****ed up though. But man, I give him credit for Lebening it. All is well again, Rashad or Ortiz getting a title shot and fighting I see no problem with.

 

I'm totally on the Tito train for this one. I'd love to see him take out Evans. Watching him dig that grave after Bader made me feel all.... tingly...

 

Personally, I couldn't get my face out of my hands. Such a silly taunt. I much prefer his ringwalks.

 

LOL @ that ****. Anderon gets $200,000 plus points on the PPV. Tito gets $450,000 plus his percentage. Not exactly a cheaper replacement. I wouldn't be surprised if DW is exaggerating about Machida's supposed demands either.

 

Tito's GnP is legendary. The way he throws elbows from the guard is insane! Love watching it. I wish they put him in with Ken Shamrock again, just so I can see him elbow the **** out of him :yep

 

That fight was brutal. He turned Ken's face into a slab of meat. Was painful to watch.

 

Tito is still a very good and dangerous fighter. It wasn't a "lucky" shot, it was right on the chin. a "lucky shot" would be serra's on GSP because it hit him in a place that A) Serra wasnt aiming for, and B) that happened to **** up the man's equillibrium. Tito hit Bader straight in the chin. He caught him, wasn't lucky. It was bad defense on Bader's part.

 

I've been saying this for a while. Sure, he hasn't won for a long time, but since he got smashed by Chuck, he got a draw with Rashad, almost triangled Machida and had a competitive first 2 rounds against Forrest. It was only his Hamill fight that I really started thinking Tito was properly done. Then he destroys Bader and I almost bust a nut.

 

Dave Meltzer said on his radio show last night that Anderson Silva makes about a million per fight accounting for PPV bonuses and such. He said Machida's management asked for the same deal and Dana essentially told them when you accomplish what Anderson Silva has done in MMA you can get the same deal.

They'll probably get more PPV buys for this show with Rashad-Tito than they would have Rashad-Davis in all likelihood. Win-win for Tito. He has a ready-made excuse if he loses which is perfectly believable in not having enough time to prepare, no one expects him to win so if he does it's a miraculous thing, plus he helped the UFC out of a main event bind so they'll keep him on longer.

 

Rashads inactivity will go against him, but I still think Tito will lose here.

Quality win over Bader no doubt, but I've never rated Bader to be honest. Tito surprised me, he really seemed revitalised (moreso than he did against Hamill anyway) and it was great to see, but Rashad is a notch above that and I'm not sure Tito has too much left despite that win.

I was hoping King Mo might've got called in to fill in, last minute ;-)

 

Don't get ahead of yourselves. Tito is past prime. What he did to Bader won't happen again most likely.
