Yea Tito should just go down to 154 but in my opinion, if he was very serious about coming back to boxing for good he would've had a tune-up bout before fighting Jones. So it looks like he just did it for a nice paycheck.

But you never know he might fight DLH on his farewell fight.

i think tito could still be top fighter at middleweight. he was clearly too small at 170, plus his punching power was nearly non-existant. jones isn't exactly JC chavez in the chin department, and the few times tito was able to catch him flush, did no damage at all.

Nah, he didnt look that shot tbh. Just overweight. He should drop down and fight at 160/154.

Yes if he cannot get below/or doesn't want to get below 170.

No if he is willing to get down to 160/154

Trinidad should have retired for good after the Cherifi fight. He's done damage to his legacy with his defeats against Wright and Jones. I honestly never thought Trinidad would have made a comeback after announcing his first retirement.

De la Hoya should do the honourable thing and make the Trinidad fight with the announcement that it is to be ''their'' farewell to Boxing... Lots of hype and nostalgia to use in the buildup---what with the result of their 1st fight result still being a contentious issue---at 154lbs-------:smoke :smoke

It looked like he was all but finished against Wright but I thought he did himself pround against Jones. Maybe he has more to offer than I thought. I'm a big Tito fan and it would be nice to see him carry on - not at 160 though.

I think he should fight De la Hoya against. But I don't think Oscar will fight above 160 and I don't think Tito will fight below 170.

Trinidad didn't look like a shot fighter last night. Just a fighter fighting a guy who was too big for him. That was the big difference last night. Jones speed and Tito's ring rust played a factor but I think the size factor was the main difference in the bout.

If Trinidad move back to 160 than I don't see why not stick around. He would probably be a solid contender there but would come up short against the divisions elite. He's a ticket seller and always comes to fight. Trinidad is still an entertaining fighter. I'd like to see him continue just with better matchmakin.

I would like to see his name thrown into the 160 pound division. There could be some interesting matchups and im sure he can collect some titles to go out on.

Tito shouldn't retire. He looked good in the early part of fight. He just was taking on something more than he could handle so quick after retirement. He fought a very brave fight.
