Tough one to gauge. Since May never really fought a REAL Hall of Fame caliber fighter in his prime, it makes me wonder how he would do vs Trinidad in his prime. Close fight. Probably a 50/50. Trinidad is a legit Welter though. Size would be on his side for sure.
The result to this fight would be many paramedics rushing into the ring in an attempt to revive Mayweather who suffered a brutal Tito Trinidad signature left hook . Prediction : Trinidad 8th Rnd Knockout .
100% Tito can't beat Floyd. You have to be able to hit your target and Floyd wouldn't be there for Tito to hit.
Oh yeah, the good ole Tito lost to good boxers. This is entirely true. But lets be honest with ourselves for once. What does Hopkins, Winky & DLH have that Floyd doesn't, (besides boxing ability). I'll tell you what. They all are at least his size, DLH. With B-Hop & Winky being bigger. Also the fact is Floyd has also never fought a fighter with conditioning on par with his. Floyd also starts slow, just like Tito. But unlike Floyd's common opponents who start to wear down as Floyd gets rolling, Tito will be warming up. By the time they make it into the second half of the fight where Floyd usually stats taking over & he realizes that Tito is still there with all that energy throwing bombs & backing him up, he'll know the end is near.
If this fight was actually possible, and it took place After Mayweather won, Tito, according to this forum would be a hype job who never beat nobody
Tito couldnt even break through the turtle shell defense right infront of him vs winky, got shut out 12-0..... Winky is No Mayweather:deal
Most people just presume, if a fighter has a name from before they started watching boxing, then they would beat Mayweather
Soooo, this triangle theory proves Floyd can beat Tito how?? Winky was also bigger than Floyd and has a better jab than Floyd, but we'll ignore those facts cause it takes weight from our agenda correct??
Love Tito but as someone said, Oscar was boxing his ears oof until he got too defensive late in the fight. That gave them the reason to steal it. But, PBF fights his was slick and careful, and never lets Tito get time to set. It`s not like if Tommy Hearsn was fighting PBF, and came out snapping that piston-like jab and not letting PBF be cute`. Tito starts slowly and needs time to set. PBF doesn`t give him time or the place to set and stays just a step ahead of Tito PBF, 12 UD Now Tito can crack and he always has a punchers chance, but I don`t see him landing on PBF consistently enough to get it done ...
atsch Not surprised one of the dumberst posts in this thread is from you. You're using a much larger Winky who utilizes an entirely different type of defense, nearing the end ot Tito's career, as some form of.....breakdown? That's a very elementary type of reason why you think Floyd wins. And I know elementary is the right choice of words for you. Tito fought a much more dscplined style at 147, as compared to 154 later, where he head hunted all too often. At 147, he was faster, used his jab very well, and had one of the best body attacks, something the shoulder roll doesn't work that great against. And don't forget about Tito's power. Can Floyd win? Certainly, but he's never faced anyone like Tito in his career. Definitely a toss up, leaning towards Tito. And if you think just because DLH, Hops, and Winky all beat tito, that means Floyd would, then go back to elementary school where you belong.
