PBF hurt his hand in that fight and he did pretty much clown him. Baldo couldn't find PBF with radar in that fight. It was easy work even with a broken hand. I agree about size but along with size but you alsou need skill. Tito IMO isn't skilled enough to get the job done he doesn't have the right style either. If he had a great jab I would say he had a better chance. Hell Ike Quartey gives PBF more problems at 147 than Tito does.

For me absolute prime Floyd was the Hatton fight and his foot speed would just be too much for Tito.

Love Felix but Oscar did say that he fell for absolutely every faint and as long as you stayed off the line then it was easy work.

Floyds greatest victory on paper , but I dont see Titol winning more than a couple of rounds.

    Sorry Puerto Rico.

Did you even read my post? I said Floyd WINS a UD. Hence "outboxes him (Tito) to a UD."

  12. This is a great fight but the bottom line is this: A great big man always beat a great little man. We decide into the factors of

    Jab:

Tito got an ATG jab and is a southpaw to boot. He will frustrate the 5'6 Floyd into backing against the ropes into non stop submission. Floyd got a good jab, Tito got a ATG Jab. The difference is telling in fights against Cotto and their common opponent Oscar De La Hoya. Who's jab isn't to shabby himself.

    Power Punching:
Floyd once again come unstuck in this department against Castillo. Castillo roughed him up with high volume power punching and head shots. Tito is much more skilled than Castillo and will throw over 150 punches a round. Floyd got very little chance to inside fight like against Castillo due to the 6'1 Tito vs the 5'6 1/2 Floyd.

    Fighting/Ambush

Tito was a great ambusher. He showed it against Joppy and showed it against Pernell Whitakker.Floyd is very easily confused in spots when the ambush is set. Look at Castillo fight. Round 4. Floyd was ambushed multiple time against the ropes and he was no where near in control of the fight.

    Counter Punching:
Floyd's counters will be nollified against Tito. Pernell Whitaker is higher on the ATG List than Floyd and is arguably equal h2h and Trinidad won 11 of 12 rounds against Pernell. Trinidad dominated Pernell and it is telling. Pernell is exactly Floyd's size and Trinidad is just too big. A great counter puncher is always nollified against someone bigger. Example will be when Riddick Bowe fought Herbie Hide. Hide was a great counter puncher and was nollified by Bowe and later on by Vitali Klitschko due to size. Size is and always will overcome counter punching abilities.

    Stamina:
Tito got great stamina over 12. Floyd has been known to gas late. He was gassing against Hatton and Castillo. I just don't see how Floyd can keep up with the extremely high work rate of Tito, Floyd is a great small man against a great big man. I just don't see how Floyd can counter the massive volume of punches thrown by Tito. Tito has been known to throw over 150 punches per round. Can Floyd survive an onslaught for 1 round? Yes of course. But can he survive for 12 rounds? I highly doubt it.

    Lateral Movement
Tito's got great lateral movement, just a fantastic finisher inside the paint and is a great vertical fighter. Floyd is often troubled by lateral fighters, this is why he won't fight Pacquaio or Martinez. Two fighters with ELITE lateral movement. Tito's lateral movement is eons above that of Pacquaio or Martinez and he got much higher p4p punching power. I just don't see how Floyd can survive the lateral movement of Trinidad especially late.

Conclusion: Floyd put up a great fight, but will get knocked out or tkoed around the 9th. Scorecard prior to stoppage. 7-2. Trinidad
