Floyd Mayweather would have never stepped into the ring with a true great fighter like Trinidad. Next topic please.

He wasnt clowning him after 8 he was moving! People were booing and leaving. That was not Floyd clowning, That was Floyd getting pressured and having to stink it out bc he doesnt have the fire power to hurt Baldomir.

Imo Tito is skilled enough. Remember Castillo did not have the greatest skill set either but he was big enough to really bother PBF. Castillo the only lightweight I know that could come in at jr middle. Tito vs PBF at 154 forget it Tito knocks him out. Remember how fresh Tito looked against David Reid compared to how slow of foot he looked in the ODLH fight. 147 was clearly hurting him to make by that point. And PBF at 154 is not...well PBF. Floyd gets touched at 154... a lot.

I disagree. JLC was more skilled than Tito he could do more in the ring. He also had a better chin and a better body attack. The two fight nothing alike JLC is an educated pressure fighter and thus are not comparable. Also PBF was injured going into that fight and it was his first fight at 135. In the rematch you saw he could deal with JLC's style much better.

Rumor has it that MVC had PBF over Tyson by KO, at a catchweight ...

The more recent versions of Mayweather would be in for a serious fight. This wouldn't be a Hopkins or De La Hoya type of contest. Or a Wright jabbing clinic. Mayweather could definitely win, but it'd be difficult.

Tito had his limitations. Feet wide apart which limited his ability to cut the ring off, but Mayweather could not stay on the ropes with Tito. I think Mayweather adjusts to Tito and moves around and wins a close Unanimous or Split 12 round decision in a very brutal fight where Mayweather is all swollen up from punches which even though not landing clean, are still landing on him and he barely wins. One of those fights where the size of Tito almost wins it for him.

However, mosley did really hur May in their fight, and he is not a puncher of Tito`s class. So maybe, just maybe the proverbial punchers chance ...Although MVC says Floyd hits harder than all of em !

You realize we're talking about them both at 147, right? the 147 Floyd isn't the same as the one who fought at 140 and below. He doesn't move nearly as much. And since when is Tito slow? How in the world did Castillo, Corley, Cotto, or Hatton land a punch then? It doesn't take much speed to hit something 2 feet in front of you, you know. And Tito, at 147, was hardly slow in the hands anyway. Not being as fast as floyd doesn't mean you have slow hands.

It's comical the way some think hand speed works here.

Trinidad could hit really hard, and while he really didn't use his jab much. He was outstanding at keeping on the outside.
Mayweather has shown a good abillity to take a punch and his adaptabally.
I'm going with Mayweather with some reservation. If there is anyone at 147 besides Leonard, Hearns and Robinson. Trinidad is the man for the job.
