    can anyone confirm if this was really true?

    ever since the hopkins fight there were rumors trinidad was using illegal wraps to get devastating punching power. :think:think

    I think they were just mental tricks...

    i think roach said he did it to floyd mayweather & oscar and it bothered them...so im guessing bhop did the same thing

    before oscar fought floyd
    and bfeore paq fought oscar

    roach went back with officials and made floyd & oscar (in seperate fights) change their tape styles because they claimed they were illegal

    its basically just a trick to take both fighters out of their comfort zones...

    im pretty sure i read that somewhere

    you don't get extra power by wrapping your hands with a special tape or in a special way, it is jus about mental tricks. But a lot of boxing fans really belive in this ****.

    in the beginning i thought it was real because from looking at tito he looks harmless (his baby face :rolleyes:).

    and i never thought looking so weak he would never pack so much power.

    Actually if you wrap it a certain way, the tape makes indentions through the foam of the glove and makes the wrapping harder.
