Come on!atsch Neither fighter would blow the other out. You're clearly underrating Shane here. This fight would have been a war with both fighters possibly tasting the canvas. No way Shane is stopped in easily.
If Tito landed one of those hooks he could have a good chance at stopping him :deal But yeah I think this would be a close UD by either guy.
Just look at Shane-Forrest fights and that tells you that Tito would had beaten Shane. Forrest had the same body frame as Tito but lacked the power Tito possesed. Plus Tito was very accurate puncher who fought behind a good jab to set up his power shots. Shane would had gotten to brave for his own good and would had been badly hurt.
Joker - you think that the Forrest fight was an indication of what would happen between Shane and Tito? Man, Joker by name...
Forrest was a poor man Tito. He was not a great fighter but very decent. He gave Shane two of his first loses. Tito is a way better fighter then Forrest ever was and hit way harder. you are the joker if you ccant see it for yourself. :hi:
I feel just the opposite. Both of those guys fought a defensive style had excellent jabs and countered well. Tito likes to bang come forward and Shane loves facing that type of fighter because of is superior handspeed and toughness. Shane could be out boxed but it's hard to out brawl him and that's what would happen against Tito it would be a war with Tito having the better power and Shane having the better chin.
Yes Shane has a great chin but was it ever tested against someone with Tito's type power. if Tito lands left hook after left hook cause of Shane's willingness to stay in front of him eventually his chin will give out. You can only take so much of that same crushing left hook. Ali had a great chin but after numerous left hooks by Frazier he eventually fell.
I don't see Mosley being able to outbox Trinidad like ODLH did. Mosley, especially in his younger days would stand and trade. Infact, the only time I have seen him box well is against Collazo. But a Pre 2001 Mosley would get hammered for trying to trade with Trinidad. But then, I can sometimes see Mosley overwheling the slower Tito and can see Mosley KO Tito. Whichever the case, a KO is inevitable.
Yes, it was Tested against ODLH power, and he held up well. Problem is that Oscar was more focused on out slugging Mosley in their first fight, than actually setting him up and going for the KO. But Trinidad is someone who always went for the KO, with just about every exchange.
after looking at the responses, it's still hard to say, but i think you are right about the problem of shane's spartan mentality. i can see him getting whacked the way he did against forrest in their first fight...and the way tito hit at welter, well, that'd be the difference in the fight.
I'll take Tito by close UD..by no means would it be a "brutal ko.":rofl:rofl Who has Mosley ever been knocked out by to suggest that Tito could do it "brutally??":huh This fight would be a close fight and I'd lean for a close UD in favor of Tito!:bbb
