Tito Trinidad vs Manny Pacquiao (147lbs)

I went with Tito. That was his prime weight and he was a master at it. Pac would always be a tough fight for anyone and in theory he COULD win, but Trinidad should be favored

 

Pacquiao went through a lot of weight classes but he was a welterweight for the last 12 years of his career. Prime Trinidad beats Pacquiao from about 2014 on. The first five years of Pacquiao at 147 would have been a good fight. I would say Tito would win seven of ten meetings.

 

Trinidad is too powerful for Pac, being the smaller man and trading with Trinidad isn't a good idea. I can see either a brutal war where Trinidad edges it by late round TKO or a steamroll type of knockout Joppy style.

 

Tito could have rocked him with glancing blows. At 47 he was powerful are precise. Trinidad by KO as soon as he catches him clean.

 

I think his prime weight was at Light Middle.At Welter Manny could beat him imo.

 

Pac. Tito would be forced to cover up when Pac would let his hands go. He also didn't have the best punch resistance.

It would be like Pac--Margarito but more competitive.

Thurman would call Tito out on Social media. Then when Trinidad accepted the challenge Ketih would suddenly need a tuneup and 9 months.

 

Less than 5 with his track shoes on.

 

A bridge too far even for WW Pac IMO. Pac may be able to win some of the exchanges and even hurt him but I think Trinidad would have eventually catch Pac with a good shot at some point. Too big, powerful, and strong. It took fighters that were bigger than Tito to beat him using superior boxing skills.
