Top 15 puerto rican welters....maybe that's what those fools meant.

WHO DID HE BEAT AT 147?

He dared not unify..so he stayed in his place without challenging the other CHAMPIONS at 147.

Forrest UD.. More than likely boxing his ears off in the process.

Tito was at his best at 154, but that wouldn't matter.

Forrest didn't know how to handle the wild swinging Margarito, and payed for it. Tito is too predictable, and like someone said, put all of his weight on that front foot throughout his career. Forrest is Tito's nightmare.

Always been a fan of Forrest always will be...
A real shame we never got to see him mix it up with De La Hoya & Trinidad.
That said, I think Vernon had all the tools to trouble anyone.

    Trinidad included.
I'd favor Vernon, Tho I'd lock him in @ 154lbs.

I'd favour Trinidad by KO but wouldn't be surprised at all if Vernon won.

If Tito was that good he would have given Hopkins a run for his money....not get shut-out and knocked-out.

King kept Tito away from anybody with a belt for SEVEN years...for a reason.

No they meant regular WW. Do you know how many title defenses he has?
If we gonna kick it on some boxing **** be for real.

now on to the topic at 147 Trinidad at 20 yo beat Maurice Blocker for the title. Went on to beat Hector Camacho, Undefeated Yory boy Campus(56-0-50KO's) Undefeated Oba Carr and Pernell Whitaker, Oscar De lahoya(yeah I know) and lost to no one.

Now your turn, who did Forrest beat? We know he lost twice to the caveman Mayorga.

You guys must remember how tight Vernon's boxing game was. Defense, stickin that jab, and a long right hand that put Mosley on ***** street. He wouldn't get drawn into exchanges or come too close to the ropes. He would dance on Tito almost all night, and sit down on those shots when he had to.

I agree with this. Once Forrest would have figured him out and adjusted to Tito's predictable style he would have outboxed him.

And you forget the pre-HBO Tito before he fell in love with his power. The one with good movement a long jab and a right hand. check the Oba Carr fight. After he gets dropped he gets up and makes adjustments, timing and distance.

He couldn't crack an egg at 140.

    I don't see Tito taking Vernon's bodyshots.

The punches that dropped Shane would have put Tito in traction.

The Viper would put on a clinic in this bout. No doubt in my mind who takes it
