Cotto isn't even better technically. Anybody that thinks that never saw the 90's Trinidad, or doesn't actually KNOW what technical skills are. Tito had a very underrated jab, had a better arsenal of punches than one armed Cotto, and did a better job of blocking/parrying shots than Cotto does. Those are all part of TECHNICAL SKILLS. So no, Cotto has NOTHING over Tito. Trinidad was better in every way possible.
Miguel Cotto has always been a great boxer and class guy, with a great family. He is no Trinidad, though. Never has been, never will be.
did i say it was close h2h? no i did not so learn how to spell and read before you call other people ******ed
I like both guys and followed each of their careers, rough night for both of them, for me a 140lb Cotto is P4P better than any version of Tito, but head to head at 147 or 154 Tito would knock lumps out of him.
Right on. IMO Tito would have stopped Cotto within 5-6 rounds. I watched most of Tito's fights back then as well.
it was just a quick run through, not detailed....i haven't seen the p pendleton fight, is it worth watching?
i'll be honest right now i can't remember much of it until i watch then it'll probably come back to mind
