the difference betwwen the 2 was that B-hops complaint wasn't that anything was loaded on to the gloves it was how much gauz and tape was used that it made the glove feel like a cast there was nothing to bag just had to be rewraped margo's wraped had a substance on them.

so it's not the same and this is why TITO doesn't get ass much crap:good

Yeah people are going to just say "cheating is cheating". Its definitely not the same thing.

thankx for clearing that up for me:good. i didnt know much about this but the way the posters on ESB were going on, they made me believe that tito did the exact same thing as margo and it got covered up.

    thankx:good

With Tito it was bad as well for a while. It was about the way the gauzing of the tape solidified to form a plaster like cast. Still bad if it was true but all we have is Hopkins' word and we all know how much **** he talks. But yes, Marg's is a bit worse cuz not as sophisticated a method of cheating.

Yes Tito did not go out of his way to Cheat like Margo did and not to that extent either. Just some extra gauze and tape could also protect a fighters hands who hits so hard.

Marg was CLEARLY trying to cheat.

So yeah.. Sounds like Tito's illegally wrapped his hands in a way to make his fists harder yet Margo went the extra mile with bricks.

Not exactly the same, but both just as illegal (ie cheating). One just needs to look at the Tito before and after to note there was a difference.

the thing is not all trianers wrap hands the same wway and paap tito although always being in the corner of his son really wasn't an experienced trainer. so when it came to wrping he knew only one way and it wasn't the right way as his father stated he had always wrapped the hands the same way. TITO didn't know what his father was doing was wrong he had no idea his hands were being wraped incorrectly.

i bashed tito at first aswell but after doing a lot of my own research and getting info from other poster .

when some add a substance or item to the wrap the fighter is aware because they know it shouldn't be there. as in margo's case

:patsch What difference? He won both his fights after losing to Bhops by KO, 1 being after a 2 yr layoff he was the first man to stop Mayorga, Agianst RJJ, Winky and Bhops he fought bigger men who were more skilled than him, further more all 3 respected and avoided his power, I don't think he landed a single big shot upstairs on RJJ or Winky.

yes and once they were informed althoug papa tito said he would continue to wrap the same way (it was his pride that was hurt basicly he was told he didn't know what he was doing) he never wraped then that way again.

This is all true. Hopkinssexual ***s here on ESB are hurt that Trinidad could sell out stadiums by lecturing, and on his own, Hopkins could not sell out an outhouse.

After Hopkins, he KO'd Cherifi, Mayorga and then lost a decision to Winky Wright (who he couldn't even hit if he tried to) and RJJ. The RJJ fight should be dismissed on all accounts because he was ridiculously out of weight for that fight and had nothing on his punches at 170.

There's no "the evidence shows a difference" because he had 4 fights after the "wraps" incident, scored TKOs in two of them and lost decisions in the other two. Fact is neither of his losses are indicitave of anything because against Winky he never landed a punch of significance and agaainst RJJ, he was a bloated creampuff.
