I saw a threat the other day about a prime 147 Tito vs Floyd Mayweather, and I dont remember if I saw one person pick Floyd to beat him. Now I will admit that I do not like Mayweather one bit, and I cant wait to see him take tha humbling beating. This does not change the fact that he probably will box circles around Tito. JMO, what yall think

he would, hes a better boxer then oscar, and oscar did it, and Floyd doesnt gas. floyd UD or late round stoppage.
If Oscar didnt run like a twat he would have won the fight, judging aside he was outboxing the **** out of Tito, so no reason why Floyd wouldnt outpoint him
Absolutely not. Floyd doesn't hold that same size advantage nor does he have the movement at 147 that Hopkins had at middleweight. I won't even go into the all too obvious lack of combinations and the difference in power. Trinidad would beat Mayweather at 147. His potshotting routine and countering off the ropes routine wouldn't work here against Trinidad, who is much bigger, has superb timing, and crunching power.
HMM good question. YOu have to remember though guys that outboxed Tito all had either power or a significant size advantage on him. PBF wouldnt have any of that so i dont know if skills alone would do it here.
Who the **** knows? ****, Floyd won't even fight Margarito. Now, we're tryin to get him in the ring with Trinidad?
I'm torn. I am not, not, NOT sold on Mayweather's ability at 147. At all. I think he's VERY beatable at the weight. But I'm not sure Trinidad is the one to do it. At 147 he was obviously a deadly hitter, but he was vulnerable. Mayweather could pot-shot and get an early lead, possibly even knocking Trinidad down. Whether he could survive down the stretch, I don't know - I just see Trinidad clawing back the later rounds, possibly to lose by close decision.
I don't see how it would be any different than Wright v Trinidad ... Floyd is faster than Winky ... his defense is better than Winky's ... his overall movement is better than Winky's. I see Floyd's attack being more precise than Winkys ... and Floyd would land more damaging blows ... now matter if they had an effect on him ... they would score. I don't see Tito getting off anything effective --
Winky is bigger than Floyd, he has a different defense than Floyd, and he could keep Trinidad off him with his jab. Floyd will be running, has an entirely different defense, isn't a southpaw, so the distance will close faster, etc....etc.....etc....
