I hate it when great fighters get disrespected due to ignorance...:-(

I think alot of people either don't know or look past how much better Tito was at 147lbs then the more recent version that's been displayed at 160 and above.

Elite boxers gave even a prime Trinidad problems. Im sure if a past prime sweet pea could survive til the end and even win a couple rounds a prime Mayweather has the goods to win. IMO DLH won their fight and that running bull**** means nothing....trugging forward and missing is ineffective aggression no matter what the other man is doing.

Anyway Trinidad will be the strongest fighter Mayweather would have shared a ring with at welterweight so Im pretty sure he wont be standing and trading much. One thing he'd have to do is get Trinidad's respect, because if he doesnt Trinidad will try to walk right through him.

Trinidad was susceptible to the jab and right cross because of his front foot heavy stance and his peek=a-boo defense and Mayweather has a laser-like right hand. Also Tito has trouble with movement and has to be set to land anything other than a jab. Mayweathers accuracy, slickness, and counterpunches will him Mayweather surviving some scary spots and even a knockdown to win by close UD.

This isnt about Miguel Cotto....who needs to grow some balls and call Mayweather out like Hatton and Judah did, Mayweather is the champion yo boy is a contendah....this about if he and Trinidad ever fought....who do you think wins??

Whoever picks Tito is not a very smart boxing fan. Tito would get embrassed badly and retirement during the fight.

Tito is a good strong fighter but he needs his opponents right in front of him and preferably trading. Any Elite who have the common sense to avoid those two things can outbox Tito. Floyd would beat Tito like he beat Corrales. Corrales and Trinidad fights very very similar. Stands str8 up and good hooker.

I said nothing about weight ... stylistically Winky is a defensive fight and Tito had trouble with him and it wouldn't have mattered what weight the fight was held at ... there was no way that Tito could overwhelm him.

Tito was 32 ... that was well past his prime? ... he retired in his late 20's ... I don't think physically Tito had reached his peak ... the inconsistancies in training and condition cut Tito's prime short. He wasn't well past it ... he had just knocked out Mayorga ...

Like I said before ... Floyd's defense wouldve been a problem for Tito who wasn't used to fighting fighters that didn't take risks in the ring.

All of those impressive fights and performances were against guys who were willing to trade ... willing to stand there in front of him ... willing to take his power.

You see what happened with DLH at 147 ... Floyd's style trumps that x10 ... he wouldve moved better than DLH ... never ran out of gas and used his jab to offset Tito's attack. I know that Floyd's head and shoulder movement is far more superior than DLH's.

I don't think there was anything that Tito couldve done to beat Floyd ... in the latter rounds Tito is looking for a target and getting pot shot at will.

Anyone that thinks this fight would look like Hoya/Tito, Hops/Tito or Wright/Tito is way off. Just Compare Baldomir to Tito at Welterweight. What Floyd did against Baldo....is what he will try and do against Tito.

Add to that ... Tito telegraphed his power punches ... he would shuffle his feet before throwing the right hand and he would plant down on his back foot before throwing the left hook. It was hard for Tito to get something effective off on the move. Floyd would use his superior movement and his fast twitch reflexes to offset Tito's attack.

People always underestimates Baldomir. Floyd won that fight easy with an injured hand. Floyd can't stop Baldomir, so what? at least he knew he can't stop him and wins it by points without damaging his hand. Hell Vernon Forrest a huge 147lber and solid 154lber can't even put a dent on Baldomir. Forrest

No he won't ... Tito is way faster than Baldomir at 147 ... Floyd would out think Tito in the ring and his foot speed would offset Tito's attack who's feet have to be a certain way to get off his most effective punches.

Floyd will pick off Tito's punches and take away his left hook ...

    Floyd by UD ...

Floyd would find himself on the ropes too often in the fight. If you are on the ropes, at welterweight, with Trinidad punching you....you are getting ****ed up. End of story.

Doesnt have the movement of Hopkins ay 147? Did you not see the Baldomir fight? I am in NO way comparing Tito to Baldomir but watch that fight again and see how well Floyd moves at 147.
