I think that from the jump we are going to see a slow, stiff Trinidad and a quick, although hesitant RJJ. Around the 6th round RJJ will hurt Trinidad but will let him off the hook because of Trinidad's past tendency to get back into big fights after KD's. That being said, the speed, strength, and size differences- along with the RJJ's more active status as a fighter in the last few years will start to show again in the 7th and 8th rounds, and a stoppage will occur shortly thereafter. Anyways, thats how I see it.
How do you see it happening? Do you see RJJ attacking that early given his temperment as a fighter? Or do you see him countering an attacking Tito?
He'll fight the first round pretty much as you describe. But he'll realise he's in with a slow fighter who's only there for the pay day after about two minutes. Roy was always a smart fighter. He'll have no problems altering his plan. Second round he'll start sitting down on his punches a bit. Trinidad isn't interested in taking hits, he's not getting paid by the minute.
trinidad will come out a bit excited in the first round but jones will be a lil quicker. by the third and fourth round trinidad will keep up the pace and by the 7th-9th rounds he will control the fight. i think trinidad will control alot of this fight.
Why did you do that?!? Ok its a bet, about Roger I mean if Trinidad wins in any way. If Roy wins by decision, I want you to put Oscar up.
I don't think Roy TKOs Tito before round 6...I think if Roy doesn't get him out of there by the 6th or 7th round, He'll be content to just lay on the ropes and counter Tito all night. Tito, outside of the Hopkins fight, usually eats canvas early on in the fight and recovers accordingly. Tito will be game and he'll stick around a lot longer than people expect. If the fight is still going on after 8 rounds and Roy is in control, expect him to cruise to a UD.
