This may have already been done but on http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12183_3047779,00.html, it says tito if he beats Roy jonesJNR then he wants JC providing beats hopkins. I think it will be a great fight and JC would win by Ud what do other people think.
I just don't understand it. Joe was avoided like the plague in his prime, now everyone wants a piece.
He his still in his prime now because nobody really hurt him. Plus he his undisputed SMW champ that makes all the difference.
I think JC just might knock Tito out. I wouldnt pay for it either, because even if he does beat Jones, so what? How does that earn him a shot?
Trinidad doesn't have the ring generalship to deal with Calzaghe. He's way too straight up and down. Almost like a telegraph pole. Most imprortantly above everything else, he doesn't have the chin. If that fight was to be made, it would probably be at 170lbs. Trinidad going as high as full light-heavyweight would be too high a jump. He does possess decent speed, but he'd need to muster up as much speed as possible. Added weight would restrict not just his handspeed, but reflexes and timing. Mobility wouldn't be too much of a problem as he's never been a mover, not just defensively, but when attacking as well. He's a patient plodder, even when he was at welterweight and jr-middleweight.
Eubank and Brewer, yes. But he fought a hungry and young Lacy, and Kessler was no old timer either. Every fighter loves to fight old timers. Ali against Moore, Holmes against Ali, Tyson against Holmes, Holyfield against Holmes and Foreman, De La Hoya against Chavez twice, Tszyu against Chavez..............
Calzaghe doesn't have power, his speed is his best weapon, Calzaghe's last real KO was like 3 years ago, cause with Manfredo the ref. stopped the fight veeeryyy prematurely (though Manfredo wasn't gonna win anyways). Who avoided JC like a palgue? JC has done great things but at 36 the only great opponent has been Kessler.
Who has actually hurt Tito?. Lusheing, Reid, Vargas, and Hopkins, other's as well at welterweight. You don't need to be knocked flat on your back for the count of 10 to be hurt mind. Your not going to tell me Hopkins never hurt him?. The others I mentioned had him going aka dropped and shaken, but Hopkins even more so. Dropped + shaken + holding = hurt.
