You may be on to something here Tom, Tito/AA might be the perfect way to showcase AA to the non-diehards in the USA; he's a recognizable name and AA would look like a beast against the dude.
why would beating a shot Tito warrant Pavlik-Abraham, if Kelly doesn't want any part of him now, how is beating Tito gonna change that?
BEcause at this point Tito is someone that either Pavlik or especially AA could look good against to help generate buzz. I love Tito, but he is only a name anymore. And frankly, if he DID manage to beat either of those two, imagine how big the fight with the other would be.
After Tito brutalizes poor Abraham, and sports that pretty IBF trinket, and after Kelly makes negative dollars with **** poor PPV sales from Pavlik-Mora, Pavlik will beg Trinidad for a shot.
Haha, I should remind you that we are in 2009, not 1999 anymore. Even Cotto would be worried for Tito's well being when he would face AA at this point of his career...
it makes sense only if Tito wants to go ahead and put in the work to make 160...Tito at 160 can do damage against anybody, but he just doesn't seem to want to put the work in...Tito/Pavlik at 160 is attractive, anything above and it becomes a waste of time...
Why doesn't Tito earn a shot at the title? He loses his last two fights and he can hand pick big fights? Ridiculous.
