Sure. Deal with it: accept it, handle it, manage it, move on. Stop deluding yourself like Kovalev had any chance to win that fight. I understand you're in shock, but Ward beat him up and stopped him. That simple.
I didn't come to a boxing forum to not talk about a hot controversial topic and lots of luck convincing others to do the same. I can accept that people are in disagreement about this fight. You seem to be struggling with that idea and want everyone that disagrees to be quiet. So I'm afraid you are the one that is going to have to deal with this.
Didn't watch the fight, now reading up this morning it seems Ward won but at the expense of cementing his reputation as a dirty as **** fighter. Fair enough, it works for him, but it's going to damage his image in the sport and place in history.
Maybe try actually watching the fight before coming to such conclusions? There was nothing dirty about his performance tonight. This is just Ward haters in meltdown.
2-0. Kovalev is a great fighter, one of the best of his generation and one of the most successful Russian fighters of all time but he got beat twice by a better fighter. I know it's hard for Kovalev fans to accept but it is what it is.
I disagree. Kovalev was stopped by low blows - this is just the plain facts. Largely because of the aforementioned low blows. I can agree here, Kovalev was not going to come back and win. Ward was on his way to decision, as I predicted before the fight. But the logic is problematic, low blow stoppages are low blow stoppages regardless of who would have won without them. And fans have a right to complain about it therefore.
