Of course Haymon is behind it, but I do believe having any kind of empire (Let alone a sport you're interested in) is something every american is interested in.

I so see al all over this. I mean think about the whole May vs Pac thing that rivalry grew into more than just may vs pac it became roach vs roger and golden boy vs top rank.
and with that whole polarization came attention to both companies, trainers and fighters . The only problem is Top Rank and Bob where keeping all their money and popularity they were getting from the promotional beef in house. Now with TMT and Golden Boy they have two strong promotional company’s that are just as big as the fighters sign to them that can go head to head and create drama. Reminds me of how bankers would fuel wars and then fund both sides of the war and end up stinking rich because of it.

There's just no reason for a guy like Berto to leave Haymon when he was getting 7 figure paydays. Haymon will definitely have a lot of influence in TMT.

Al Haymon surely has some consultation/involvement in all of this. But 50 Cent is also a guy to follow his latest whim. A businessman who chooses his next endeavor based on how much fun he thinks it will be while also making some money to boot.
